Biggest rivalries in country football

Well, reading through the SGL forum lately, seems there is some discussion about the biggest rivalries between the teams.
Got me thinking, I've played in three leagues, four this year. In each league, the rivalries are always evident.
I would love to read about some of the rivalries in leagues around the state and stories attached to them.

Biggest one for me I guess was between Roopena and Weeroona Bay in Whyalla.
Stems back to the 1970s when the clubs were formed. I think there was a big battle to get to the first premiership before the other.
There's been a series of physical encounters between these two but IIRC there was a grand final in the late 80s early 90s where one of the biggest and most violent brawls broke out.
Hostilities between the two teams are still strong, as evidenced by last year's grand final, where Greg Fiebig had half his ear ripped off and Damien Hannemann was king hit and knocked out.

What are some of the others out there and the stories behind them?

Wudinna United v Central Eyre is a good one. Certainly the most prominent in the Mid West league.

Birdwood v Kersbrook also a good one in the HFL.

In North Eastern, South Clare and BSR hate each others guts and in Northern Areas BMW and Southern Flinders can barely tolerate each other. Both have two premierships so this year might settle a thing or two.

Balaklava - Hummucks
Two Wells - Virginia

as a kid I can remember my uncle from Calomba area playing for Mallala and one Saturday night we were coming home on that dirt road out of Mallala after they had flogged Long Plains or whatever they were called. Anyway we stopped because someone was broken down and it was some opposition players drinking long necks of Nathan. They exchanged insults, had a brief punchup which I thought was amusing (a kid from Findon on holidays) then they drank the rest of the beer.
It was a scream

When I lived in Lincoln as a kid in the 70's, the Lincoln South supporters had an intense dislike, bordering on hatred, for Waybacks. They were seen as the "toffs".

Marion VS Happy Valley from the 90s & 2000s

Marion lost 4 GFs in the 90s to them resulting in a dead sheep rocking up outside the changerooms.
