In the KNTFL on the weekend Tim McIntyre who is 16, plays for Naracoorte kicked 12 goals in the A Grade match vs Border Districts.
Who are other youngsters who have kicked a bag in A Grade???

I'm not sure if he kicked 10 goals in a match as a 16 year old, but i've heard stories of Greg Phillips dominating for Lincoln South as a 16/17 year old at CHF, and i think he kicked a big bag representing Port Lincoln against Whyalla in an Association game.
I recall Jamie Walker who played most of his A grade footy in recent years in the South East, playing for Mannum and kicking quite a few bags as a youngster, not sure exactly how old he would have been when he kicked his first bag of 10 goals though.

Taylor Walker kicked 7 goals in the Broken Hill grand final in 2007 which I guess would make him about 16-17 at the time.
When Chris Prime kicked his first 100 goals in a season he was only 18.
What's the story with Tim McIntyre has he been building up to this, has he got the game to go further.

Mark Riccuito tells the story of when Neil Kerley came to see him play at Waikerie as a 16 year old to sign him up for West and the Crows. Kerls wnted to see him play on ball but was in a fwd pkt and kicked 10 or so.

Glenelg have definitely got their eye on Tim. He played some U/16's for them last year and will probably be up there very soon to play some U/18's.
His brother Ben is currently in the State U/18 squad.
Tim had played the first 3 games in A grade and had kicked 11 goals up until this week

He kicked 9 in the grand final when he was only 15 or 16

Heard the story Paul Evans as a 15-16 year old kicked nine or ten playing for Streaky Bay or the old Rovers against a bloke who was an EP full-back and was still in his prime A-grade years.

Shite, 12goals as a 16yo is a fair effort... im guessing he is not a small lad.. Id be happy to get 12 kicks in a game let alone kick a dozen goals..... Crikey... what do they feed the boys down that way... I`ll have what they`re having!!! HAHA

Yep a local who has come through the clubs junior ranks.
He is tied to Glenelg, so no doubt he will be up there very quickly. I dont think Naracoorte will see much more of him

Peter Cook I won a Mail Medal for North Clare at 16.
Alwyn Davey (Senior) won his 3rd Mail Medal for Thevenard by the time he was 18, I belive he also won a B grade association Medal before this!

A little bit off topic, but Wes Bilney (dual Mail Medallist in Port Lincoln) kicked 27 in an under 17 match... And I was standing him!
