Well, after winning last year with the inclusion of the BLG association, Eastern Zone look set to have another red-hot crack at back to back titles, although Southern Districts is always competitive.
Any news on who is in/out of various squads can be posted here.
It's worth the journey to Pirie just to watch superstars like Safralidis, Portlock and everyone's favourite small man Vick.

Shoe Boy the southern districts squad trained last night at Strathalbyn. Looks much stronger than last year with the support of more clubs, Im glad the differences that were last years issues have been put to bed! Plenty of GSFL and SFL reps along with 2 Hills and 1 KIFL player.
I couldnt tell you the entire squad so i wont bother trying to name names. The squads im pretty sure should be available on the net either today or tomorrow.

(Loxton North)
Ryan Proud
Michael Arnold
(Barmera-Monash)
Dillon Millard
(Waikerie)
Jackson Sutton
(Renmark)
Simon Callahan
Paul Stelzer
(Pinnaroo)
Brad Sheridan
(Lameroo)
Shaun Walker
(Kapunda)
Brad Valentine
(Tanunda)
Ben Newberry (C)
Andrew Prior
Luke Wells
Tom Schiller
Alex Kennedy (Thanks for the reminder Chuck)
(South Gawler)

Ryan Foulis
Craig Gogoll
(Barossa)

Obviously with 28 names there, about four or five have been since ruled out or failed their fitness tests.
Glaring omissions include Ryan Bennett who will play for West Adelaide this weekend and Damien Stevens who has a hamstring injury.

Plus, on that, all the Riverland and Mallee players are confirmed, there's a few from BLG I'm not sure on.
Bain, Newberry, Valentine, Lutze, Prior and Whiley are the only ones I think are confirmed
