Brad Man, did you vote 4 times????

Not so sure you'll get the same returns as last year, lost a fair bit of quality that had experince playing together...

Even if you replace the quality (which Im not sure you will do) getting the time to 'gel' together as a team will be the problem, IF (and thats a big IF) you replace the quality you will looking to '10 at the best (earliest) to make the GF again...

[Think Tanunda will be ther again their opponent could come from a group of 3 or 4 though depending on final line ups / recruits etc

They way I look at it...

Tanunda will be the benchmark still, allthough I am hearing more departures from the magpies may eventuate, but at this point, they would still be my number one...

Barossa, well the losses that they have will mean they wont be a GF side, not too say they will slip dramatically this year, but as my assessment is in my previous post...

Gawler Central, with no great losses that we have heard of, and the inclusion of a few senior 'locals' coming back, along with a new head coach, I could see them making improvement from their PF place last year and they are my logical challengers to Tanunda...

Kapunda, 4th last year, and if B Taylor has left the Bombers, I think they will struggle to make the 4. Just seemed to lach a little depth and they dont sem to have many juniors coming through...

Out of the rest, you would think improvement will come from Ango with their recruits, Nuri made some progress late last year, South will probably show some promise as usual but be their own worst enemy (and the loss of Bevis hurts). Willaston and Freeling both to continue to struggle...

So my prediction would be a Tanunda vs Gawler Central GF...

But of course its only an opinion... You actually didnt state your selections, I just made an educated guess... So who do you think will be there???

Tanunda will be hard to topple again.

They will face one of the following 3 teams;
Gawler Central
Barossa
Willaston

Anything is possible in february and the competition looks like it will be much more even this year.

Tanunda to be benchmark. Gawler Central to get closest to the magpie machine.
I agree Pinch Hitter, it will be an even comp throughout 09.

Still no selections Brad man, or a little wrap up, a man in your position should have a good understanding of the opposition... oops I mean competition!

I see someone has voted an odd number of teams (67 votes at this point) when when the poll requires two teams to be nominated as grand finalists, but that's probably cos Tanunda and DAYLIGHT wasn't one of the options!

Just to confirm,

Brad Taylor is still at Kapunda along with the return of Tristan Kerr, former premiership Full Back.
