Trouble at Angle Vale?
Or just one player whingeing?

There may be something to this, just based on what I've heard around the traps.

There seems to be an undercurrent of attitude amongst certain areas of the senior playing group.

Some blokes flatly refuse to play A grade. Little clusters break off and do their own warm up before matches.

It really is a strange vibe going on, which would be frustrating for Herrmann, who wants to lift training standards and work ethic but blokes just can't be bothered putting the time in.

That said, there's obviously blokes who are working hard but not everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet at the moment.

Hearing Lachy Michael, Mitch Sandery and Callum Hay was touch and go with a groin.

Can only see Michael and Sandery on the clearance site for the carnival.

Heard a rumour from some Pies fans saturday that Virginia and Jamie Thomas may have parted ways. Any truth to this?

A couple of big games this weekend.
HWE vs United: The loser of this one will find it tough to make the four with only five weeks to go. With HWE still missing a few, United should win this one.
Balak vs Two Wells: A win by Two Wells, who look to be at near full strength with the exception of T. Leighton, would sure up their chances for a top-2 finish. With Balak's injuries, TW should win comfortably.
Virginia and Mallala should comfortably account for AV and HB, respectively.

Two Wells and Hummocks are probably the big winners out of the draw as they are the only two clubs that play Hamley or Angel Vale 3 times.

Geez the way the Peckers are going at the moment even Hamley are in with a show.

On a seperate note, very impressed with Two Wells Saturday.

Jamie Humphrys, Tallan Leighton, Harrison Gameau, Theo Markou all to come back into that side too.

Be very interested in how United go against them. Is Travis Beard getting flown back from Sydney each week?
