This weeks 1st Semi sees Koonibba taking on Thevenard.
Koonibba have won all the meetings between these sides during this season, with Thevenard not able to get a win during the minor round, although they have pushed the Blues in all their meetings.
I would expect a close game for the first half but the experience of Koonibba should see them across the line against a young Thevenard line up.

I don't know of him but that doesn't mean he doesn't play.

Can anyone see Westies getting knocked off?
I'm not too sure about the league, but why are Westies so strong?
Would expect someone like the Blues or Thevenard to be the stronger of the sides geographically.

No I can't see anyone getting near westies, they have a very dominate midfield lead by Rohan Scott and Todd Warmington and up forward they have Mildy Chandler who in his early 40's still plays a top game each week and is a very accurate kick for goal, they have a balanced well drilled side.
Why are they so strong? Class players like mentioned above and I really think fitness is their key, in last years Grand Final against Blues they ran over the top them especially in the last half.

Played the last couple matched for Blues so I assume he has qualified, so Id expect him to line up in the 2nd semi.

Thevenard won their first game of the year in the 1st semi easily defeating Koonibba, they now have a fortnight to prepare for a Preliminary Final on their home ground.

Haha, good on the old Eagles.
How'd they pull that off? Just got a few extra numbers for the finals?

Not really sure what happened, I think the Thevenard MAGPIES played really well from the first bounce and couldn't be stopped, I wasn't their so can't comment too much.

This week sees Westies taking on Blues in the 2nd Semi at Penong, Westies would go into the game a clear favourite being undefeated so far this season.

The B grade sees Westies playing Koonibba in what should be a good game and the colts sees Westies playing Thevenard.

Prelim Final played today at Thevenard:

A Grade:
Blues 11.19 defeated Thevenard 12.6

Thevenard lead by 4-5 goals in the 3rd qrt and looked to be set to go into the GF but Blues cme back and now meet Westies in the decider next week.

B Grade:

Koonibba defeated Blues by around 10 goals.

Colts:
UNsure of score but would think Koonibba should have won.

Do you think the Blues would have the best chance of rolling westies, rather than Thevenard?

SS,

Apparently Blues still have a handful of players to come back into the side for the GF this weekend. That should help you would think depending who they are.

Well done to W.Johncock (Blues) on his second Mail Medal. Really talented player. Will need to be at his best as will Pickett to roll the tigers in the big one !!

Blues have a slight chance but Westies are the raging hot favourites, Byron was great against Thevenard but would need to lift a cog or 2 to lead Blues over the line but honestly I don't think Blues have much hope, but stranger things have happened!

Far WEst footy is over for another season, it felt like Groundhog day for me, Westies winning their 6th straight flag! they were too tough, hard, skillful and fit for Blues running out 52 point winners, Blues were within 8 points early in the third term but couldn't keep up.

Reults from the day:
A grade - Westies defeated Blues (Westies 6th in a row)
B Grade - Koonibba defeated Westies by 6 goals (Koonibba's 3rd B Grade flag in a row)
Colts - Thevenard defeated Koonibba by 10 goals (back to back flags for Thevvy colts)

and not forgetting the Netball:

A Grade - Westies defeated Ceduna Blues United (Westies 7th in a row)
B Grade - Ceduna Blues United defeated Westies
C Grade - Ceduna Blues United defeated Westies
D Grade - Ceduna Blues United defeated Westies
