Doubt that's gonna happen. Not sure where the money is coming from to have that running. And I'm pretty sure we don't need it unless Ben Cousins has got an offer somewhere.
Seriously, it's amateur football. If blokes are on the gear then it's the police's job to find it, not the SAAFL or any country league. There's no way the leagues can police it.

Every sporting club in Australia would be in strife if they did it,think about it with the number of players each club has some one would be at least smoking dope. Never going to happen in amateur comps considering it doesnt even happen in the SANFL. If it did there would be some nasty surprises from a certain club who hasn't won a flag in a long time..........

so why buy players! just buy drugs and feed them to players

and sound like you wouldn't have trouble getting players then!

:lol lol: About the cost! this is where the mind comes into play, they would only have to test 1-2 or 3 clubs at random per year across the state, then who will be next? will only work with severe penalties for example PID drugs life ban, REC drug referral to counseling up held at club level and SH-T if the SANFL can not contributed the finances to help limit the use of drugs in sport and the greater community at large they should have a good hard look at themselves

Still not going to happen. If people want to do it they will find a way to get it and that is proven by even AFL players taking them, plus the laws in SA are a joke. If the state government is hopeless (in this case they are) then the AFL,SANFL and other regional leagues do not stand a chance. Its not the SANFL's problem, its the state governments issue.
