Hally is always injured so no surprise its happened again, I think now at 35 or 36 he would need a lot of time off , Mannum have had to suffer a high pointed player playing only a handful of games per year , not the best option for a team who need to have him on the field , Mypo will run Mannum off their feet this week the same as they did to us , Mannum have a very old and slow side and will struggle on their own large ground .

The resident tool is back.
Think Hally may have played ever game last year and is an absolute champion of the RMFL. This may bring us back to the pack. But as Stalker would say, we have enough Champion players.

Heard this yesterday also. Hope to see him back on the field next year.

Mannum will apply for another interest free loan from the mid Murray council. This time to send Hall to Germany for revolutionary new surgery which will see him back in 6 - 8 weeks.

This may be a distinct posibility.

I am not saying he is not a champion , I know Mannum worship him, the fact remains he misses important games each year due to injury and it would of had to make it hard on Mannum each time as they rely on him so much. Sad to hear it is an acl , no one wishes that on anyone and I do wish him a speedy recovery , if he decides to play on. Would he go on?? Maybe he should book in and see mr peptide himself Doc Altman , or is he still under investigation with Dank and Hird.

Tragic news and will be impossible to replace. The club will turn this into a positive and march on! Hopefully Hally will return from this.

Made the trek out to mannum today, have to say I left feeling a little riped off . The big guns from mannum simply did not show up. Having said that I saw possibly the best hit / tackle from a young kid on clayton you will ever see.. left clauton dazed and confuzed for the rest of the day. Competition seems wide open at this stage of the year

Terrific effort by the Imperials coaching staff today. Been a long time since the free flowing Ramblers outfit has been kept to 8 goals in perfect conditions like today. Absolutely strangled their offensive run and Ramblers had no answers. Two quite evenly matched teams but it would appear Imperials have a huge advantage in the coaching box.

Was that the hit that occured at least 20 metres behind play, was a bloody disgrace and that kid should hang his head in shame for that sniping move. He is bloody lucky no umpire saw it and as such wasn't reported.

I'm not sure what Sheedy and Bowen were yellow carded for but that cowardly act on Clayton didn't even warrant a free kick in the umps eyes?? Apart from these incidents, it would have been a great game but for me it seemed as though the umps lost control of the game and it got ugly fairly quickly.

Where did I blame umps brainless? I didn't know what cards were for so they could have been warranted. All I said was after the Clayton incident it got ugly for both sides and spoilt what would have been a great game of footy. Mannum have no one else but themselves to blame for the loss and lack of discipline.

Imps did play a great defensive game and turned it into attack enough to win the game. Collo coached well , unlike his opposition Hein, what the hell is he thinking?? Mannum again blaming umpires , but when you look at who they had there is probably some merit. Clayton being injured behind play sounds interesting, I have heard here in the bridge a few rumours of blokes bragging that they got him, Mypo should be aware that what goes around comes around. Apparently the butler done it ??

Results from the weekend lean toward making it a very interesting comp this year. The most baffling result would have to be tailem v Meninge. Wow... That's an absolute smashing. Not bad for a team that was supposably carrying blokes and unfit. As for Jezza getting nailed I find it quite humerous, with no disrespect to how hard Mypo are, or think they are, I'm pretty sure Clayton has had a lot harder hits thrown at him over the years. Not too sure that I'd wanna be the lad that did get him next time they play as it is a well known fact that Jezza has a severe case of little man syndrome!!! Sounds like imps came to play and its fair to say that when they do they can beat anyone. The Anzac Day clash at Imps should be a ripper. Imps will be confident and mannum will be annoyed. I know one thing for sure sheedy and Clayton will turn up the intensity and if their supporting cast can jump on board I reckon the roos will roll the blues. The Meninge v Jervois game shaping to be a beauty too. The winner of that one will get a nice little upper hand in the race for the 5.
