That's alright, imps will pick someone else up mid season

Not surprised, they love that oval and play it well! Some absolute gun local kids and I expect them to be around the mark for years to come providing the locals stay. Good for them!

Looks like I was wrong about Jervpis going winless, wishful thinking I guess.

Poor old Tailem are going to struggle big time by the looks of that scorecard. I had heard their recruits were all guns so hopefully they weren't firing today and have got something to offer later in the season

I see Ray Love got a bit of revenge today on Tailem kicking 10 goals.

Jervois should have won by a lot more. Very good in the first half but let Tailem hang around in the second half. Coulter looks like he'll jervois back on track, spoke very well to the group.

Couldn't make it to Meninige. Have been told there were some serious injuries all in the first quarter? Hall and Bowen from Mannum and Brunoli, Ware and Gibbs from the Bears??

I guess after two rounds we can safely say its not such a certain top 5 as we all thought.

Jervois pushed Mannum in round 1 and to see Meninge get smacked by so much a week later suggests Jervois could have a huge say come finals time.

yep hall went down early in the first and bowen in the 2nd quarter unsure of the injuries and how bad. I was told brunoli had his nose badly broken in a tackle and was taken to adelaide, unsure on the other two, saw ware running around in the first quarter and he looked slow and proppy not sure if it was an injury or his stomach getting in the way.

Gibbs had the nose broken. Think Bruno had a hammy strain

Well interesting round of footy on Saturday.
Mypolonga look as though they will be the real deal, two gun forwards Gene and Martin and
wow do they run the footy and use it really well, way too quick for Imps, who missed Smith
in a big way. Gene had 5 to half time and has running rings around his apponent, but with the supply
by the mypo runners if was a tough day for all the backman.
Mannum over Meningie easily, Meningie maybe in trouble with two pretty ordinary games first up.
Would be disappointing for them.
Jervois look better than first thoughts maybe a real chance at the five if they can keep all the young
kids fit and up and running all year. Playing much better footy under a coach that encourages rather than
one that abuses.
Another big round this weekend
Imperials v Ramblers big game for both sides - bigger for Imperials now though have Mannum 5 days later could be 1-3
Mannum v Mypolonga - a big game - young guns of Mypo v the older experience big names of Mannum - game of the round
Tailem v Meningie - how bad are Meningie or how good can tailem be
Cannot wait - bring it on

Geez that's a bit rough about Warey! Strained his calf muscle on saturday.
I heard the rumour going around the RMFL was that Ware had been given the sack!

Maybe its just a coincidence but he is in Port Lincoln at the moment. Didn't he used to play there?

I don't recall him playing in Lincoln before, but I have a feeling he may have played in Port Pirie (if not maybe Pt Augusta) before being recruited to Central Districts.

I think it's common knowledge he's been under performing since he's been at the bears, hopefully he can bounce back and prove all the doubters wrong!!

I was told the Bears looked very unfit which is strange for this time of year. Apparently Roberts can play a fair bit

Couple of good games this week and we should learn a bit more about a few sides. Where are Imps at and are Mannum a genuine top 3 contender. Meningie have a lot of injuries so Tailem won't have a better opportunity to claim a victory!!! Got the wrap up on Meningies injuries by Dalwood but no word on Bowen and Hall from Mannum as previously posted so they must be fine.

Hally is always injured so no surprise its happened again, I think now at 35 or 36 he would need a lot of time off , Mannum have had to suffer a high pointed player playing only a handful of games per year , not the best option for a team who need to have him on the field , Mypo will run Mannum off their feet this week the same as they did to us , Mannum have a very old and slow side and will struggle on their own large ground .

Hally would be 30 - 31 maximum

He is 31, and I am fairly sure he didn't miss a game last year!

I heard today that Hally is out for the season with an ACL. Apparently unsure if he will go for the LARS surgery. In any case a big loss for Yates and the RMFL. Wish him all the best in his recovery.
