Dangermouse - my information on Ladhams is the same as yours from a couple of blokes at North Adelaide. While he might have matured and have a bit of football left in him, don't reckon he is worth the million bucks he apparently wants!

Winlte had to pop Ladhams one this year. I hear he deserved it too.

Will he be playing? Wasn't his retirement forced through injury. I can't imagine him training too much if he has to manage a neck injury.

Who's coaching who?
Has Onka's named their coach yet? I heard they were getting close to announcing it.

Yeah probably right hog, I hear Captain Koala is on his way to Meadows anyway, also heard Meadows are looking at Tim Henshke to possibly fill their square, and we all know Tim is very good at filling a square.

Not sure if Ironbank's new coach has actually been mentioned on here with all the banter about Chris Ladhams. Gary Campell. I believe the comittee have made the correct decision and one the senior playing group are very happy with. Top bloke with very level head and knows exactly what we need.

I don't want to knock Birdwood cause I like the club and I hope they do generate some success, but unless they have Warren Buffet on the finacing comittee, they will not come close to final 5. Need 5 top players and another 5 useful players for depth. Thats half the side gone, doesn't generally happen in one off season. You should be looking to build over multiple seasons and maintain the list.

Time to move forward Rob Neville... Campbell is the coach at Ironbank and should do a good job. The club needs to get behind him now so it can move forward.

Not sure he will attract a lot of players particularly quality ones. Yes, he did reasonably well at Aldinga given their situation but he will be tested in 2009. I can't see Lynch bringing any guns that Onkas need to elevate them into the five... time will tell. I guess he had to get a job somewhere, I heard he applied for just about every position that was advertised.

I think it's about time that all you bridgy guys move on. It's pretty disapointing as an outsider to go back through all the posts and see some of the dirty laundry that is being aired.
Come on lads it's time for summer, the beach, having a few tinnies, a bit of cricket and then watching you guys have a kick next year!

You make this site a very humorous one to read hog, not sure your entirely spot on with the Henschke remarks, for one the bloke never trained, I have never seen the bloke get a hard ball get in my time I've been watching him and in terms of being a team player if you consider yelling abuse at your own team mates while the game is being played a team player then you must be very uneducated or you must be this blokes best mate. You sound a bit agitated Hog have I struck a nerve or two?? Judging from your previous posts you sound a bit closer to the Bridgewater action than your letting on, perhaps you even know Captain Koala!!!

Im glad you find it humorous newman. I think being a defender at bridgy it would be most frustrating trying to pick up all the loose men comming through so I can see why henschke may want to say a few things. But from the sideline I can't say I ever heard him bag his own players.

I think Ladhams would have done a reasonable job with Ironbank i think it might be more about the massive amounts of dollars he must think the booming town of Ironbank has to throw around. The figure i heard he asked for is unrealistic in the HFL and then add on the $800 a game rumoured to have been asked for his mate hargraves...
