does anyone else think there is privacy issues involved with listing names, date of births, adresses and phone numbers online?
if a player doesnt want there details listed what happens? i know of atleast 1 player on our list who will not want nor will his employer want details published.

Do you need to put all of that info in there?

BS - does the general public get access to that information or only the people at the club with the passwords? In todays day and age any list like that is open to abuse, telemarketing and the like. I dont reckon its compulsory to list all players as I know there are plenty of clearances around the place going through manually.

What are they going to do anyway if you dont put them on there? If in doubt I would leave them off to protect your player concerned.

im not updating any of my players info slapsy, as an employer if i was to give an employees contact details out without permission im in the $hit. buggered if im going to do it as a footy club rep.
not sure if general public have access to the details or not but as you say any list of that kind is open to abuse.
its getting to the stage where if your players arent on there they must be soon to allow the rfl and other leagues to manage player movements easier.

I assume your league has held trainings if so did you or your club attend.
I attended trainings that my league held and these questions were answered.

Roos Vs Roos at Moorook Saturday. BMFC beat us at home last year but they will be in a lot of strife this year when the mighty Mannum Roos roll over them. Pity its not at Barmera.

So you should win. You pay a hundred grand a year for players. I'll still back Barmera to give you a touch up.

Our treasurer has the first dollar he ever earned and so I dont reckon he would come at a hundred grand. Little struggling club of Mannum Vs the financial juggernaut that is Barmera. Might make for an interesting day out. Great to be watching local footy again. Better than that trash served up as a preseason comp. in AFL. Couldn't even raise a smile when Power was beaten in the last quarter it means so little.
