Any truth Jeremy Clayton has secured a contract with his business to service the local Mid Murray council. Since he will be working in the area Monday to Friday he may be granted as a 0 pointer from the RMFL. Clever recruiting again from the resident chip chef if this is the case.

Can't see how that could be done. It would set a precedent whereby clubs would sign players, find them a job, and then apply for a points reduction.

If he moved there legitimately for work, then signed a contract with the club, then that would be fair enough.

About 5 years ago Martin Bailee moved to the bridge from the West Coast to work in the bank. He was a three pointer and Imperials applied to get him as a 0 pointer on work grounds and this was refused by the League. The reason was that they did not want to create a precedence. I believe Imperials would be quite within their rights to appeal if any clubs were now able to use work relocation as a way around the points system.

Several now live and work in the Bridge. 4 colts played a majority of last year and several played in the 2011 flag. Not sure what your issue is but Imperials is probably as strong as it has even been and Collins has contributed exceptionally to this ongoing success.

True , maybe a little harsh , these players were recruited a while ago , my point is do not say you dont recruit , simply he doesnt have to as it was done for him . Last year he thought he needed to fill a hole and got Hall . Just because they are now 0 points does not mean they are not recruits , lets be honest. Collo is a great coach , the best in the league by far but , we do not honestly play as many LOCALS as we could , we are so lucky in this area but do not use the depth we have to its full extent , and it is anoying for a few of us that Collo is trying to hide away from that by saying they have no recruits, or as i said maybe the paper got it wrong as we do have as many recruits as anyone except ohara and meningie which is just a joke.

What's your problem with Meningie used to be? Don't you like a competitive Meningie, as you posted above no one has the numbers and depth of your mob that's why we have to recruit, but we don't deny the fact the we recruit like your coach.

Have players signed over their marketing rights to the standard? Would they be entitled to a share of the revenue of people buying the standard?

He wrote on Twitter months ago that he had signed again with the same club as last year - the pigeons?

He does play one off games around the country at times - I know he played in one in Tasmania - they paid a fair amount to get him ($15k maybe) but they raised a bucket load from it - $40k I believe...

Yeah mypo and the pies had a hit out last night. Not sure on the scores but Id say it was a close hit out til half time. Mypo put on a stronger side and were dominant. A solid contest for 3 quarters. Brad martin had a lot of it, a bloke by the name of barts had near on 60 touches and a lot of their younger brigade played really well
