fenoughty played really well against us and dont get me wrong he is a very good player but for me sunny voght would be well in front for the medal at this stage anyway IMO .

Played well against you! he dominated!
sunny has missed weeks through injury, not to mention fenoughty gave him an absolute bath when the two came head to head last round. Damian Fenoughty is easily the best player in the league at the moment, and my tip for the medal.
Brad Schroeder will be a front runner from pinnaroo, i suggest he will steal votes from the champ sunny voght...

The Mallee players named in the zone squad usually have to have played in the interleague game.

I guess the question is how many of these players were available for the Mallee side to play the Riverland?

It has to do with the coach on the day... Damian Fenoughty didn't get played in the middle (where he has been dominating every week), Rian Crane only played a half and Clayton Sporn only got a quarter by all accounts! This doesn't really give these guys a good opportunity to impress.

Well that possibly knocks off my reasons for their possible non-selection.

Although, you'd think a player with Rian Crane's skills would be an automatic pick.

I would of thought also, same goes for fenoughty, both very good footballers. Clayton is still a kid, he is just getting better and better. Its a shame they didn't get the game time, but these guys will have alot more opportunities to make their mark in the coming years.

Another interesting thing to mention, feel free to tell me if i'm wrong, but i would of thought the league leading goal kicker would of at least been named in the mallee squad... not even given the opportunity for selection to play riverland... :?

Thought I'd add my tips this week, as this thread is slower that Floaterheads sex life

Murrayville to cain Karoonda No writeup needed
BDT over Lameoro, with all 3 Richo boys back, but then again at Lameroo they may get up
Would love to say Peake here as would be great to get this first win, but Pinarroo may just prevail in a close one..

Not too many would argue with those tips cm, lameroo without the likes of philby and walker won't be good enough against the crows especially if the likes of richo is back. how many weeks did he miss? (Josh Richardson)

Was a very good win by the boys. Shows what you can do when you put your mind to it. Might be a while before we here from dutchy. Last i heard he was going on a trip, something about going to asia or asias?. Dont no what was harder to stomach the thought of dutchy nude or one of the Downs boys going on about a chest mark as if it was a hanger!. lol.
