South Australia’s best country footballers will lock horns this weekend as a series of inter-league matches are played across the state.

Good to see the Port Adelaide Cup will still be competed for! Do Norwood and South Adelaide (maybe North too?) have any involvement in the inter-league given it's their zones?

R Benbolt got 5 games I heard, lost it on the field then approached Pappy after the game and made out he was going to run through him. I hear the stuff that keeps your drinks cold may have been present....

Hard to say - would they have a few guns getting good money playing in the city or non-Mortlock leagues? The only difference seems to be the big name ring ins...I'm not sure Choppy would be match fit but who knows. At least it gives every team a match before the finals.

It's in today's Times, and I came in here to specifically ask how James Lakin did not make it??

Just from Districts how Troy Simpson and John Miller got selected ahead is more than baffling, its outright ridiculous!!

He must be unavailable?

Lakin not listed in the Times today, he is one of the best midfielders in the strongest comp on EP in my opinion. Picks himself

Carslake was very impressive on the weekend, he doesnt look very old so you would think he has a bright future.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.

He's a real old school type, disciplined, plays the percentages and makes his opponent earn it. He is still very much a kid and has a lot of upside. Will eventually move to CHB I would think. Has a good kick and from there could really penetrate into the forward lines
