good question but that is assuming they have all signed and all last years recruits have re-signed

Sheedy $2200
Clayton $1600 I have no idea why Sheedy would be worth $600 more than Clayton
Harvey/Pech $2000 split how they see fit

I won't speculate on Bowen, Hall, Thomas etc as i don't know, but i am very confident on the other figures.
Fair to say there wouldnt be much change from 10k a week, add finals which would be expected and 200k would be around the mark for the year.

Perhaps instead of taking Sturt away from the RMFL just relocate them to Mannum ;)

Where does their money come from?[/quote]

I hate to be the bearer of startling revelations. But perhaps these figures you've conjured are in fact, false  It is also quite possible for 30+ year olds after several years of league football to want to have a kick with a few mates

Yes that's why they are at Mannum

Of course they're getting paid and probably well - but not these sorts of figures.

I think you blokes are blind to what's going on if you think they are not getting the money mentioned above, I know from a very good source the above figures are pretty close

well I have to say I would think everything is above board, but if your 200k player salary is correct I hope we get more sponsors from somewhere

Lotto Man, who is he? I think some of the prices are fanciful. No club could afford the dollars being speculated, so could probably half. Have heard the local landscaper is now selling gold river pebbles instead of bark and mulch. i think the Bowan deal was sealed on the back of agreeing to build Yatsey his new house.

Love it when the Murray Bridge clubs get worried the cup will be taken from the Bridge. Mannum is a well resourced club and good on them for having a crack, that's what it takes to get some parity between Ramblers/imperials v the rest. We had a crack this year but fell short at the last hurdle.

More so when the talk of $$$$ brings that defensive nature to bare. If it's Mannum's rotataion for funding a flag why not. As for for all on the books, sure the blokes would love paying the tax. Bullsh$t

Who cares who gets what, you're not the one paying it? Seems a few do nothing but whinge when good players sign for another team. They'll make your comp stronger and more quality players will follow them. Do you seriously think that Clayton and co wouldn't have thought Motlop and McLeod play in this comp - it must be pretty good! The RMFL was barely on the map in terms of strong comps in country SA until the last few years, it may even be one of the strongest now due to the aggressive recruiting of the teams

All loverly over here at blue land at the moment the big man himself the greatest one of all collo is donning the red suit for our xmas show and giving everone a present . Wait and Harro will be the first ones to sit in his lap to accept the sign on fees which will be diguised in a shoe box wrapped in blue crepe paper. Next on the lap of the great man and self appointed association coach would be Mr Davey , now his sign on fee will not be handed out as it has been alledged it has already been given to Mr K Hall. This is probably the only slight rumbling occurring over here all else is good and once again do not underestimate the blues in 2013 especially you chooks from across the road, after all we have the great one and you dont.

Collo's coaching is probably unrivaled by any other current coach in the RMFL and his resume is thinker than the chip on your shoulder UTB. Imps will still be good even if he didnt hand out all his hampers to the Davey, K.Hall etc...

I know that!!!!! what the hell are you thinking heiny , collo is the best , dont try and manipulate my words , and probably at the end of the scale would be your coach or even yourself hein or browwwwwn. What were you thinking, spent the most$$$, by far had the best recruits , had all the momentum and lost to Ramblers ???? when the going gets tough no one loosers to ramblers. Dont worry about collo he has this competition covered easily .

So old Collo is the best coach ever ?? Yet can't take a gun side missing a couple into a GF?? I thought that's what good coaches do?

Old Chooks are all upset over the discrimination written in the standard recently,
Just don't know how to cop the abuse!

Well wa wa wa !! All of ya! Poor old mypo can't afford to keep up yet were 1 kick away from an a grade flag.
Not to mention they won the Lyall Parker trophy for the most wins for a club in 2012. Boo frigitty hoo!

Went along to have a look at Mannum launching their new players at their annual charity fun run.
Jade Sheedy certainly will be a genuine and seasoned leader for the Roos and Jaremy Clayton looks to have some real mongril about him. New player Kevin Beachy from the SAAFL also looks to be a very good pick up. Brad Wakefield looks to have got himself into good shape in his return season. Also good to see Todd Bougen returning to the club for its 2013 campaign..
