Great effort! Wish him all the best. Any idea on what the cash injection is nowadays back into local clubs? I've always found it a bit strange in situations like these where a young man has spent the majority of his football at Ramblers, yet Sturt will receive twice the $.

Sturt receive all the $$ and are MEANT to pass a fair portion of it onto the clubs... I have heard a whisper that it may not always happen.

Wonderful opportunity for Brad. It will be interesting to see how he copes with the rigours of AFL life. Very talented but his commitment levels will need to lift dramatically.

Just spoke to a bloke who had dinner with hally. He is not happy with taking a pay cut to fit in the new recruits. He was quoted as saying "these chumps never played AFL, I made this league!"

Does seem a bit odd when he knows the players so well. Let's get back to some normal talk please.

A few years ago it was $25,000 to the League Club, not sure if it has gone up since then.

They are meant to pass on $5,000 of that, which is then split $1,500 to the zone, $1,500 to the league and $2,000 to the club.

I have never understood the zone part, although wouldn't be surprised if it goes to the CFL in the new structure.

Interesting to see that the RMFL is being realigned to South Adelaide  Good for South, but not for the many parents who have to drive their kids to Noarlunga!

Surely if your kid is good enough doesn't matter how far to travel.
Think will give more kids an opportunity to play at that level.

agreed, silly comment.
if i where the RMFL i would be kicking up a huge stink!
Sturt don't do a lot well but the continued relationship between SFC and the RMFL is one thing that they do do very well!
kids in the RMFL zone get some of the best opportunities due to the SFC's jnr program. (plus there are a lot of talented kids due to the strength of the comp) something the South Adelaide fc do very poorly imo
