So is it, that they haven't all signed/committed - or are some on here making claims that aren't 100% correct - at least at this stage?

I think its more a case, that the clubs are trying to keep things a little quiet, but forums like this 1 spill on the goings on of clubs before they would like it so! Then the clubs feel obligated to give over some info because its out there & everyone is talking about it!! If Sheedy wasn't done, why would they (the club)even mention it. Mind games

Its not 1970 anymore Milsom, we know whats going on, and to be fair, we done give a toss if you recruit Kurt Tippett. Your culture is the problem, Waste your money! If Mannum get success great for them, but at what cost & for how long?

Simple philosophy when you have the numbers in the junior programs to support it.

Are you typing from Pluto? That's how far away you are from the truth.

Well you had better tell JC to stop telling lies then cause that's the number he was spruiking to other suitors.

Haha no other club was a chance. He would have had some fun, seeing what he could get. Fact is he could have got a lot more at other clubs.[/quote]

He also told some that he didn't want to travel to play because of his family...........................unless the number was big enough! ;)

Let me enlighten you Caramels. Amongst the plethora of jargon divulged on this site, occasionally, someone actually may know the truth which, in this instance, you do not.

I'm pretty sure quinny didn't approach any players from mannum to play at karoonda but he wasn't going to say no to anyone who wanted to come off their own back. Something he told mannum when he took on the karoonda job.

Wakefield is a good bloke who has had a really tough year. Its his choice to move or stay not Quinns. Lets move on.

Wakefield left Mannum to play at Karoonda a few years ago, so its barely a shock if it is true.

Agree Goldberg. Quinny has a job to do as a coach and if these blokes want to join him then he has every right to sign them up.

It would appear that the previous accusation of a veteran ruckman shifting from Mannum to Karroonda is utter crap, this is good for the rmfl as well as Mannum , my previous source obviously cant be trusted . I now wonder how much other crap is being spread on this site , in particular the apparent addition of ex sanfl players to Mannum. I guess knowone will know who Mannum has until they run out on the ground , maybe they are smarter than we all think here in the bridge with all the smoke and mirrors used so far on this site but that could not possibly be true. Also amazing that the new presedent didnt give anything away in the local paper , I wonder !!!! I also see a lot of talk ing up of a Woodwood from Mannum going to Karoonda on the outback site, if its the same woodwood i know of and lets hope there is not 2 , they will be in for a big shock, when he fills out his club medical they will clearly see he is allergic to hard work , pressure, any type of hard running, and any pain at all. No sooner takes the ground against us and up goes the hand for a trainer and off he would go. Throw in points and money and it simply is a bad uneducated decision by Karoonda. The only positive thing for Karoonda is that woodwood will only play a maximum of half the games due to self preservation and therefore will only annoy the shit out of everone for half the time.

Brad Hartman picked up at 77 in the national draft by Geelong, what a place to begin your AFL career. Be interesting to see how he develops as his footy has improved immensely in the second half of this year

Great effort! Wish him all the best. Any idea on what the cash injection is nowadays back into local clubs? I've always found it a bit strange in situations like these where a young man has spent the majority of his football at Ramblers, yet Sturt will receive twice the $.
