Game of the round at Orroroo where Crystal Brook was out of gas after quarter time and got rolled by 8 or 9 goals

Wondering what the ground conditions up there are like. Have you been getting the rain Adelaide has? Many grounds down here are turning into mud heaps. Always remember Booleroo as being rock hard early in the season.

Been p!ssing down up here but Mundoora and Orroroo were great to play on. Jamestown was apparently a bog

Game du jour is Orroroo v Broughton-Mundoora. Orroroo will be keen to avoid successive losses while Broughton will just be happy to get out of it without any serious strains, sprains or breaks.

I read that the BMW coach got matches for umpires comments in the press, he must have given them a spray?

JP Carey played his 300th game in the two's today at Booleroo. The A grade got up too, avoiding finishing bottom I reckon.

I didn't think this was possible, he's one of the scariest most imposing big forwards probably not just in the NAFL but in the whole state. If he takes SF to yet another flag I'd imagine they will need to give him the other half to the sheep station he already got from the 1st flag he single handedly delivered the club 2 years ago. Even this might not be enough to hold the most valuable commodity in country football.
In relative terms, Buddy's 12mill 6year offer to join GWS will pale into insignificance to what "Dards" will command on the country football circuit.
Also one of the best tEaM 1st players you will find, i believe he even went as far as to allow most of his team mates the opportunity to do work experience on his station free of charge.

Correct days... There is a fair bit going on for the great dards, if you stand at the northern end of the great laura oval, on a windy day, its said that the wind gently whispers' "papa dards!, papa dards!" He has certainly put laura on the map as a footballing destination! I did hear he wasnt willing to take a cut for the tiges to sign didak next year, hes put a "i need to be the mayor of this town" clause in next years contract! Come 5pm saturday when hes got two flags off his own boot in 3 years the country scene will be alive with hype!

GF at Orroroo tomorrow, SF raging hot favourites after a 89 point thumping of Orroroo in 2nd Semi, surely the Roos have to be more competitive on their own ground?

Good luck to Southern Flinders and Orroroo in tomorrow's granny at Orroroo. Latest weather forecast indicates sunny and 22c. Two key inclusions will be the Mail medallist SF rover Cody Turner who has been nursing a really persistent bruised heel, and Orroroo full forward Jon Byerlee who has been carrying a dodgy hamstring. SF is an unbackable favourite but Orroroo has a habit of playing its best footy in September. Crowd will exceed 5000 and could get to 7000.

Scott brand is comfortably one of the beat coaches iv ever played under bar my current coach; he surely would have that job for aslong as he wants it? The guy as an individual and as a person is an absolute jet! Well done flinders!

Dogga was off at 16minute mark with pinched nerve in the elbow but came back on later. Boylan was serviceable but teen Brady Zwar was bog in ruck. Matty Woolford was bloody handy. Yes, Brand is a good coach no doubt. A fine young family man too.

Joel Head plays in game 500 yesterday and enjoys a flag with Crystal Brook B grade and named 6th best, a fantastic player who you can't really write enough about, I was lucky enough to see him in his prime when he won a Mail Medal in 94 in a struggling Crystal Brook side.

His recent record as a Senior Colts/A Grade coach has netted 6 flags.
