I think P.B is as toey as a roman sandle and already missing his Saturday afternoons with a cold can under the verandah at Mannum!
Yes the Y.P is a humble league in its own right and it’s definitely not all jam and scones over there.

Ramblers have signed a new coach but I can't give you a name just yet. However I will say that he will give some of the egos in the club a wake up call, and expect a harder and more physical approach :D

Have heard Jervois have signed a lad from a Div 1 club called Josh Linke for a $1K a game. They should have done their homework because he'll disappoint them, even half that money is too much if correct.

Interesting that Caramels. What club is he from? 1k a game puts him amongst the highest earners in this league so you'd hope Jervois signed him as a match winner.

Mannum had their AGM today, a few people resigning from the committee but the good thing was there were people waiting to fill the vacant roles. Pete Milsom is the new president which I think will be bloody good for the club. Also a huge thankyou to Mick Heward who I know lurks on this board, you have done a great job for the club and worked your ass off, thanks again :D

Received an inkling today that Diddles Harvey is on the brink of leaving Mannum with his brother-in-law Andrew Pech and heading to YPFL. My source did mention that Diddles had already signed for Mannum, but his contract does have a clause that allows him to leave the club, for another, if it is in a playing/coach capacity.

I wonder if the RMFL investigators are onto this one?

Any truth that Div 1 Medalist and long lost twin mullet brother of Clive Waterhouse, Josh Hand has signed at Jervois?

So the cats out of the bag that Neil Hein will be coaching Ramblers next year. Former Norwood star and had a short stint with Brisbane before coaching Nairne the past two years. He played juniors at Ramblers so good to have the big fella home.

We have a light training run tomorrow night with Joff and then a meet the coach night on Friday at the club rooms

This is obviously a joke otherwise it will go down as the worst appointment in the history of the Rambler Football Club. Simply cannot coach.

Big ruckman! If memory serves me correctly, Neil played in the first ever Brisbane Bears game? Good luck to him and the Ramblers Football Club for 2013.

Mickey Mouse could coach the Murray Bridge clubs to a top 2 finish. Hats off to the local regional coaches like Browny, Yeates etc... These blokes and clubs have to work twice as hard to raise sponsorship, resources, recruits etc... to be competitive against the Murray Bridge Clubs. Imperials and Ramblers go on holidays until February and then they return while the other clubs have been working overtime during the off season.

Go on holidays??? We start training tomorrow, guess you'll crank up in December? And to say we don't work to raise sponsorship is a strange comment considering how much cash some of you other clubs throw at players!

Most blokes half serious about their A-Grade footy should be doing something 2-3 times a week anyway. Training in October is just all the frilly and fluffy stuff. Be interesting to see how many players from the premiership side you get out tomorrow night.

To be honest, I'm guessing not a lot. A few playing bball on Wed nights and I wouldn't imagine many of the Adelaide boys will travel up twice this week. Guarantee there will be 20+ ressies players floating around, all very keen to have a genuine crack the young lads

Good luck to Neil Hein... Although in the end it didn't work out as hoped with Nairne, he is a great bloke and we wish him well.
