Poor ol' Mypo, cant take a break can they.

If these rumours are true, to lose Eckermann, Albrechstein(?), Schar and Bartlett wouldnt be disimilar to the last time they played and lost a GF.

That year they lost the 3 Pedlers, Lynn and a few other I believe. If these 4 were to go, I would expect Martin would retire again aswell and with a reduced amount of points due to there finishing position they will seriously struggle to fill the holes left.

And will Gene Robinson be playing on is another question?

Strong rumour is that Robinson will stay at mypo but try out in adelaide maybe sturt. Not sure if he is a hard enough worker to make it in town but he certainly deserves a go. Robinsons best move would be to go back to his home club by all accounts Mannum are having a real go and will be hard to beat next year but again Clayton and others are only rumours at this stage. Robinson did win a grand final with the coach at Mannum playing juniors and i think they get on well together so this could be another option for him.

Former Captain Simon Geue was at the Grand Final and after getting his knee right is aiming to finish his career where it all started at Mypo, and is trying to get a few former team mates to make the treck back with him, good luck to the lad and hopefully it fills the void left by those departing.

I believe his desire to return to his home club was fueled by the way the game finished.

No secret that some players may move on due to various reasons. Browny will be sure to get some solidarity into this group before preseason commences. Although Rambles are now the hunted and arguably the luckiest premiers for a long while, it won't take much to catch them. Use to be has possibly posted his most sensible post for some time, maybe everything is smelling like roses down at Mannum after some off season success. Will Ribbons be returning or headed back to town use to be?

Thanks Ryder, yes i can imagine how much you blokes and ladies have missed me i have been overseas on private buisness. How is that Womble quinn going has he stolen more Mannum Blokes?? Is the greatest of great men Collo still coaching imperials?? It was in his contract that if Ramblers win a gf whilst he is the top dog then he would resign. Speaking of Ramblers !!!n actually no lets not speak of Ramblers. Did see on the b grade malley forum woodward from Mannum going to Karoonda , did he play for Mannum last year ? Recruiting him doesnt say much for Karoonda , he would have to be the softest player there has been only just a b grader and should not be getting paid, apparently Lou Boughen is coaching for nothing as his salary is been given to Woodward , what a disgrace.

i would have to strongly disagree that Ramblers will be easy to catch , i think they will be the opposite and be hard to catch if the reported returning players do actually come back in Giradi, Sykes, Dougall and co.

Despite the continuous talk surrounding Imps, Ramblers have been the best team in the comp for a few years now. Not all roses at Mannum. Player losses are expected from more 0 point players, which will just put us back in the pack as we can't replace them - no b graders and no u 17's. Going to be a grim couple of years for Mannum unfortunately.

Mypo will be devastated to lose these players, if true and like us have use points and dollars to replace them :-({|=
