A Grade footy starts at 2:15pm... Netball starts at about 12:30 to 1 somewhere in there...might be different this week as I think they might have swapped it with the B grade time.

15 goals in the end! our frequent flyer mr James "Dicko" Dixon was the stand out, rucked all day and added a handy 5 goals to the scoreboard. Kevin Wyatt and Damian Fenoughty dominated in the middle. Shannon Wyatt was again dominant up forward for murrayville, adding another 5 goals to his season tally.
Rodney Maynard played up forward for the hawks. He has been their play maker all year, and without him around the footy gathering possessions and setting up play they really struggled. They are missing two of their key players (shaun walker & chris philby) and it really did show on the weekend.
Good to see the great man Heath Rogers pull on the boots for the second time this season! he may of only lasted 5 mins but that was enough time to show he still has it! very unlucky not to be shooting on goal after an inspirational takle in the 3rd... He's no mini bus! :D

yes but philbey is capable of kicking a fair bag (8 or so) and without him they loose a fair amount of flexiblity down forward and shaun walker certainly could control a midfield contest. They were both big outs in the association game which says something.... not saying that that is the only reason murrayville won though....I think murrayville are a good side..

Yeah great win in the b's A grade need to play a full game and not just five or ten minutes every quarter. I thought tom carter was a bit rough not to get in the best on the weekend.

Its nearly an 18 goal turn around from when they last met. and even then murrayville were 3 short of their best 22... i honestly think that even if walks and philby return this year they aren't going to make up the difference.

I think there is a bit of older brother syndrome going on....Toby is just loving kicking the ball to him... Toby has been playing a bit further up the ground also, not having to fight over what they do get in the goalsquare...

Good to see the lads supporting the local tavern..

Last seen outside the South Terrace parklands at about 2am, must have been a long drive back..
