Great pick up, the lad can play. Wouldn't have been cheap though, one would suspect??

Sitting in the pub Sunday with the lads and a few of the boys from the Dogtrack came in. They reckon they will be around the place when the whips are cracking. Look out the Magpies and Barossa was the word

They will definately improve but still wont get near Barossa and Tanunda unless they have picked up about a dozen new players.

Agreed. Who do we think will slide this season?

Think the Bombers may struggle this season unless they recruit some quality. Lost some good players at this stage through travel, retirement and transfers, so they'll have to get on the bike with recruiting.
South Gawler are always a risk to crash at any given time and have lost a good leader in Bayliss, so who knows with the Lions? It'll need the young talent to continue to stand up at the Den

I agree that Gawler Central will improve, they have picked up some very good recruits, and now have Brading
Will be interested how they set their forward line up with Mercer, Bova and now Brading
Agree that Barossa sounds like the stand out
Tanunda obviously will be the next best, then open slather
I will take a punt
Barossa
Tanunda
Gawler Central my bolter to make the 4
Gawler South lost a few but do have some handy pick ups
Freeling things sound a lot better than last year
Willaston will tred water
Kapunda lot depends on Buckets
Angaston the gun ruckman will win them enough games
Nuri hate saying it, but we will just gather points and then have a real go in 2014

a dozen plus I reckon Jimbo...
A handful with Port Adelaide ties if everything on here is correct, and a few returning...
Suggest back to if not better strength than the team that finished 2nd (but lost another prelim  ) a year ago!

Played mainly ressies didnt they at an average club?
Decent players but no superstars.
As I said they will improve but still wont get near the big 2, could make it to a Prelim with a bit of luck but we know what happens then

For me
Barossa, have possibly improved on last years list
Tanunda, awesome side still, will be in the mix
Willaston, My smokey, decent side last year just had a useless coack, Ocker to lift them.
Central, plenty of recruits, see if they gel, as always January champions
South, havnt lost too much and have added a couple of good players, depends if Paget stays.
Kapunda, Will slide but still should be better than the bottom 3
Angaston, sounds like some very good recruits, definate improvers
Nuri, were ordinary last year and cant see them any better this year.
Freeling, unless they have some recruits we dont know about I cant see them winning too many if any

Not much going on here. What's the word coming out from bomber land. For a team that most would say over achieved last year they seem like they may struggle and fall back to pack again. Lots of losses and lots of them locals and all 0 pointers.
Big bazzas no good at eudunda so off to the riverland to go some pocket money?

What do you think about Willaston's coach RHS?

O'Connor is a short - term coach who relies on his network to recruit good players & pays good $$ for them.
He has absolutely no interest in the Reserves, or junior programs and his game plan is simple and uncomplicated.
He is very self assured, even arrogant but has had success at different times - could improve the donnies for a year or two, but could also leave them broke with nothing to show for it.
If you don’t like my words, don’t listen. If you don’t like my appearance, don’t look. If you don’t like my actions, turn your head; It’s as simple as that.
