Knowing plenty of the Berri Lads, im sure they can become a dominant force next year if not years to come!
Have Berri secured a coach for 2009?

Tom, they've promised so much but delivered so little. Nothing worse than a demon with a "Soft Fork"
I'm thinking the premiership bus has left the depot without them.

The club seems to be moving in the right direction and with their centenary year approaching im sure they will be overloading that bus!
GET DOWN ON IT!

As for the "Tiger Cubs" last saturday, what happened? The Sunday Mail suggested that they struggled?

Dont worry Aceman, summer is just around the corner. Thats when the Demon fork harden's up bigtime. :)

I'm glad to hear that and looking forward to seeing it when it's hard!

Especially with three prongs. Sorta reminds me of a porno I once watched, starring Chernobyl Charlie. :D

Sounds like a BCC motivational tape.

Aren't the Demons (summer version) too old to harden up these days ;)

Frankel gets more than a porn star (well so he tells me). He reckons he is the king.

The problem with Frankel is it's hard to get him wound up.

I've heard Port Adelaide are easier to motivate.

Momemtum is a great thing in football. Loxton had some early inside 50's but a very unfit Pete Smith couldn't take advantage . Leigh Kruger miskicked a couple and suddenly it was all over. That would have to be the worst conditions for a football game I have ever seen...except for a very muddy Myponga oval once.

Renmark were superb. They played one touch football, attacked the ball, kicked to position sensationally and kicked 18 goals as though the wind was not a factor. It all clicked for them...thought Brodie O'Dea was very good off half back and there were no passengers. Still feel Ash Montgomery deserved more of a mention, and Nick Uren tried hard. Several Loxton youngsters had a dip but disposal skills were not good. Martinson went everywhere with Kruger and some of Camplin's marking was clever in the tricky conditions. Renmark always had numbers around half back and launched attacks from there. Let's not forget Bennett was there as well, a solid defender. Good move by Renmark not to throw him forward as that could have been more one dimensional. Hopefully Loxton will build on what was a good year.
Does anyone know what the temp was, as that should have been a factor as well, except no one told the Renmark players who were running on adrenalin.

Have heard there are going to be some significant signings next year for a particular club in the Riverland. Three Div 1 amateurs and the return of some ex guns to the club. Not sure how true it is though.

Queen Vic, I have heard, Roger James has signed on to coach Barossa and the
Stelzer boys are heading back that way.
Heard they have been offered almost double what they were getting paid up here
to play down at Whyalla as well.
Sources close to the boys say they won't be staying at Renmark but a premiership
may change their mind, you never know.
However, they did leave Barossa after it had just won two premierships.

I know of Pritchard supposedly getting carted off in the paddywagon. And Sammy Hoffman getting pushed through a window, but both of these were at the hotel. I reckon it was some Adelaide lads that sparked Wade to lose it though.
