Listened to the count on the radio last night. Great to have it back on there. Just need Jacko and Bruce to stop talking when all of the votes were being read out. It was terrible from that point of view. Perhaps some colaboration between the people running the show and the radio guys would have helped. Hopefully next year its run a little better

I'm going to have a crack at you as well DK. I agree he is not a perfect kick but its not called "the best kicker award". It is for fairest and most brilliant player. Got nothing to do with being a great kicker. Kicking plays its part but there is a lot more to it than that.

Libber won a brownlow and cant kick over a jam tin - but he has other qualities. Tony Locket won one and cant defend if his life depended on it. I 've seen Griffo kick his fair share of helicopters and he has won several Whillas's - and deserved them.

just came back in for lunch. gee wiz i have stirred up a hornets nest here, but i never said he didn't deserve to win but it is true his kicks leave a lot to the imagination. which one of you posters that have bagged me for having an opion would like fish kicking for goal after the siren from 30mt out to win the game. also agree to much bulls**t during the count , they do the same thing during the footy broadcast as well

mmm its looks a bit dodgy, but it's from a site called "hot chicks in bikinis" so it would have to be right?

Kicking for goal after the siren to win a game and winning the best and fairest are two different things....

He wouldn't be at the top of the list no. I'm sure even he is modest enough to admit that though. No one here disagreed with your reference to him not being Shannon Hurn by foot, just the fact you were inferring he wasn't a deserved winner because of that alone.
His kicking is good enough at this level, and his endeavor, fitness and hardness at the ball is unquestionable.
Good bloke too.

RFL Grand Final, who are we tipping ??????

S.O.F. thinks that Renmark will win.
Why?????
Form leading into finals and including is slightly better.
Overall will have too much experience. Stelzers, Bryant, Callahan, Seekamp, Exelby and IMO Wagnitz's (form ATM is as good as any getting around close to MVP of the finals, I think)

Loxton need to be at full strength which I understand Smith may not play.
I know that Loxton supporters will say they have Kruger, Uren, Monty, Schubert maybe Mitchell boys have some experience, but I think they have a lot of kids which some times is good but if the game gets a bit willing, could be a weakness.

I'm not saying it's all over, should be a great contest and if my team isn't playing I would like to see Loxton win. But I think Renmark have a slight edge??

It looks like it's going to be hot and most likely windy. Who is the fitter club????
