How is Macclesfield looking at the moment? We have a trial against them next Sunday the 17th of March. From what we've been told we have to play Sunday because of cricket finals on the Saturday, is that correct? Our trial could of always been at NH on the Saturday. ;)

Would think maccy will finish in bottom 3 this year with Cambrai and Kangarilla so probably should be a good hit out for you.

Watched Nairne in a trial last night and look as though they will improve this year. Handy new guy up forward and a ruck who taps the ball well. Was one way traffic most of the game against mawson lakes but looked confident in a big 2013

I havent seen a lot of Hills country footy but i was super impressed with Nairne especially the Ruckmen he is a gun, Thought there full forward was also very good and there pace was unreal all over the ground. Also very well drilled well coached side they know where and when to be at all times.

Spoke to a mate from Lincoln today and he suggested that Byron Pickett and two other mates from Mallee Park will line up for Echunga this year. This would seem to be confirmed on the Hills clearance page. All played a majority of A grade last year so take up 9 points. The mail I have received is that this is a large outlay of points for the level of performance that Echunga will recieve. Time will tell I suppose.

Well then it's pretty safe to say the demons will be languishing in the bottom half of the table and the club will be in total disarray with sackings of coaches and reserve grade forfeits. Long year for the demon fans...

Please tell me you're being sarcastic! Echunga was at least a 5 goal better side than Birdwood and 10-15 goals better than anyone under them... that is a hell of a long way to slide. It doesn't look as thou they have lost as many as first expected and have added a couple of quality players, let's not get too carried away.

I'm pretty certain Echunga will be up there again come the end of the year.
They have picked up some experienced guys as well as Josh Newnham who can play plenty of different spots for the Demons.
I don't think they will lose as many as everyone expects.
My guess is they will be playing the Brookers in the GF again.
