Don't think you will get much sympathy from anyone other than imps people, especially the way ur coach was squeeling throughout the game when things weren't going his way, and ur post match comment im assuming ur referring to his comment on the siren?? Yet he had to put up with the shit he had yelled at him all day,

You must of had someone mistaken for the coach, Shane was positive after the game and said we showed great signs for having a young group in.
The comments I am referring to are the comments made by a lad i dont know much about Ferchinii? (i most likely spelt it wrong) who post match in the clubrooms when Imps supporters and Players entered and went to the bar all he had to say was sucked in you cocky f**ks. I see it as this is fine for onfield banter but in the clubrooms when we are trying to support your club by sticking around, just made all imps people head home.

You can't be serious! OK, obviously the imps boys never get cocky at all! Such a good bunch of blokes they are! I have been called all sorts of names by imps players and I haven't played for years, good on him for showing his true colours. Thumbs up Ferenchi!!!

Doesn't pfeiffer live with Quinny?? Any thought that maybe he wants to go?? Not enjoying mannum I heard. Seems like mannum are a bit 'precious' to me. Maybe those blokes that were from mannum, now at Karoonda, were only at mannum because Quinny was there

Bit early in the year to be showing your true colors I would have thought, maybe after you win the flag would be better?

Always good to see Imps get rolled, well done Bears. Style of play was exciting to see, Motty and Moorey got em rollin in the right direction. Seeing Collins punching the coaches box then hearing about him refusing to shake hands after the game are sure signs of a stressful day, chin up pal, there's always next week

Wouldn't have thought anything wrong with enjoying a win which not many people gave you a chance in winning, especially taking a big scalp like imps, a quality well drilled and structured team. But in saying this I wasn't aware ferenci said anything in the clubrooms as I'm pretty sure he had to head off last night, but he made a comment when the final siren went aimed at imps box in pure emotion after copping it all day.

Agree, I was only referring to the clubrooms talk, could easily come back to haunt him, that's if he even said it of course

Heard there was a fair punch up in the Tailem v Jervois game, surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet.

Looks like future Meningie/Imps games will be fiery affairs.

This may fire the Blues up a bit - someone asking Motlop on twitter if the Bears beat Imps. His response:

Daniel Motlop ‏@Motlopdaniel

@pieman757 very easy. They so bad. Just lazy 20 goal turn around from last time we played.

Well done Meningie , you have to give credit when its due. Dare i say it but Meningie after watching them Saturday are serious contenders. It also goes to show that a coach is only as good as the players( especially Collins) on the day, collo the great one was certainly brought back to the rest of the field when his top 3 or four are out.Any club in this league with their top 3 or four missing are vunerable. We should not use this as an excuse as the most were still on the park and the new players into the team were knocking on the door anyway. Meningie do need to learn some manners and be a little humble as the ride doesnt last forever , Motlop, Mcleod and a bus load of other recruits will go if not next year very soon after , WHAT THEN???

Started of well, but still had to have a dig "used to be"

In reference to the manners part, I remember the address collins gave in presentations last year after we knocked you blokes off up their. And it was the most ignorant, arrogant speech I had ever heard from a senior coach, not once did he acknowledge Meningie.

This week we will still win easy as the ins this week are as good as most in other teams playing the game so far and the opportunity they have been given today will show the depth we already have. Imps by 5 goals.

Have Dale leech and mobs played A grade at all this year? Seem to be pretty handy players to have running around in the ressies that would slot into most A grade teams. Was quiet surprised to see them still in the ressies Saturday.

Was a great game to watch at Meningie on Saturday - was a very hard and tough, yet quick game played in less than ideal conditions.

Meningie deserved the win in the end, but if you took the top 4 players out of most other sides in the comp they would cop an absolute hiding - thought the young Imps boys really stood up and in the end just ran out of legs to keep going with the bears in the second half. Not so much that we were missing our top 4 players, but to lose ruckman, full back, centre half back, centre half forward (and captain) is very hard to replace.

Pretty sure the Imps boys will be eyeing off the return bout in a few weeks given the abuse they copped walking past Frogs Bar to get back to the changerooms on Saturday night and the reception they got going into the clubrooms.

Someone should remind Ferenci that flags aren't won in June.... Biggest overreaction and over celebration I have ever seen in the middle of a season..... Reminded me of the Melbourne players after beating Essendon a few weeks ago..... Reckon Motlop looked a little embarrassed when Ferenci jumped up into his arms after the siren yelling and screaming like a 15 year old....

Think you'll find Mr Willy that IMPS arent alone in copping it from Frogs bar. There would be 5 other teams in the exact same boat.

I remember very well imps dropping a game around this time last year to the same team and then went on to win the flag in a canter. Credit to the bears in winning but getting that carried away after a game in june is just a little bit over the top i would of thought. We all no if you take the best four players out of any side in this comp they will be very likely to get rolled that week. Especially the quality of the four players that didn't play. Can guarantee you that there will definately be no paniking going on at imps by dropping one game at this time of the year. And if anything may have just woken them up a little bit so i would not be wanting to be playing them in the next couple weeks thats for cetain. Collins i would imagine would not be losing any sleep over that lose knowing the quality that is to come straight back in this week.

I am not sticking up for the great man i am well aware of thr speach you refer to. Collo has a great deal of pressure believe it or not , to perform week in week out , thats how we are at imperials , i think a little slack should be cut for the great one as when you dont lose much its hard to get used to. I just would not want to be in Mannums shoes this week i think they will be in for a spanking . Mannums kids have had enough and Hall is like chris judd at carlton no matter how good he playes they still lose.Imps by 100 +!!!

Hahaha the mannum boys have definately gone quiet lately,

There is nothing like a confidence boosting win against Mannum to play yourself back into form, as put initially by Collos mentor Mr Tony Fielke. Speaking of Mannum what is up with Hale and Tonks are they still playing .

Still here Hopper of grass, but can't comment on discussion between Imps and Bears as wasn't there. I can certainly say Ferenchi squealed like a two yr old when they beat Mannum the week before jumping up and down so I can only imagine the performance when they beat the measuring stick of the comp! The Roos have got a tough run home and the performance on the weekend was horrible, and they won't win another game if that is the effort put up.
