hey biffhead or maybe he just actually wants to play for peake.you must have been stiifed by them somewhere along the line because everytime they recruit someone(and good on them)you seem to have very negative things to say .how about you just worry about yourself getting if you play instead of being so judgemental of a small country club trying to survive and flourish as best they can.

Not sure if I was having a crack, just stating what I know. Maybe he does just want to play for Peake, and the crack I had at them recruiting Feltus was well worth it. The blokes a ticking time bomb, going alright tho for a 40+ year old

Hi Scott, welcome to the board ;)

Bit touchy there fman. Id say Biffboy is just speaking on past experiences within our league. I reckon 90% of what is said on these boards would be innuendo or hearsay.

Haha, was wondering the same thing Ryder and he certainly is touchy on the subject. Must have his knickers in a knot

As for the games this weekend, I'm thinking we will get up over imps but if the rain comes in we will probably struggle again as we have gone even taller this week. The boys were embarrassed about last weeks game and should turn a good performance as we generally do for the Cawte Norrish cup.

Mannum comfortably over jervois and I just noticed a clearance for Shanne Innis from the SANFL to Mannum

Mypo should account for Tailem pretty easily, providing they didn't get to carried away with last weeks win

so you know he is an ex mannum player who hasn't played for 9 years, he once trained with sturt but never actually played a game. He was quite suprised last night when he found out he had to be transferred from sturt to mannum, his last game played was for mannum, he's only playing b grade as we have quite a few out this week

too be honest not sure why we're down this week, but there's a heap of gastro and flu around the place so no doubt that might have something to do with it.

My old navy seal mate Jim isn't happy with Pistol Dalwood, said he was moving a submarine up Mannum harbor tomorrow, on board will be a pair of size 10 concrete boots specially ordered. :D

Imperials beat Ramblers today in a game that was hard hitting (I ate my words as I was standing on the hill in reserves and telling my rambler mate that the As soft and can't play hard)
Imps win by 9 goals (without Quast, Hollitt, Smith, Kowald and Altswager) and only just got the news passed on to me by a imps a grader that Henry Hodge has broken his leg.

Mannum beat Jervois 10+ goals
Mypo beat Tailem 6+ goals

Interesting day at Mannum yesterday. Ladham's yellow carded for trying to take on The Chin, 'Diddles' Harvey yellow carded a few minutes later for allegedly voicing his slight concerns over the umpiring standard to Lienert. Was an entertaining game, my highlight being the Jervois faithful yelling 'kill him' to the many spot fires breaking out across the ground. The chips and gravy at Mannum have gone to another level. I usually find myself with around 6 empty red tins at the end of the game, yesterday I had 6 empty buckets of what was, chips and gravy :@)

Quote " 'Diddles' Harvey yellow carded a few minutes later for allegedly voicing his slight concerns over the umpiring standard to Lienert" .... if the HFL's leading 'impact umpire' was officiating, the players from both teams would have been chairing him off the ground (as frequently seen on most saturday afternoon's in the Hills League !).

Apparently Lienert was offended when asked "can you award me the afternoons allocation of 3,2,1 votes". Replied that would be match fixing, followed by a yellow canary.

Heard from a reliable source, the RMFL may get their first look at the Impact Umpire via the RMFL and HFL umpire exchange program. He has certainly put umpiring on the map and may be coming to a ground near you soon.
Chin responded again to Big Jims half time speach and was high in the teams BP's. Big Jim went home empty handed, couldn't find Pistol Dalwood!!

How many seasons is the current influx of boys led by Motlop contracted to the bears? Rumur has it Motlop and co ALREADY linked to a Mildura based club and will use the ol 'work' as an excuse to cut ties with the Bears at seasons end.

Thats terrible news if there's a spec of truth to this!
