Could it be that it may be a formerJervois local (who played junior footy with the Bluds), that is being referred to?

i don't know but id say he's on a good wicket, but more to the point he's a loyal lad and very determined to finish what he's started at the pies, i would be very surprised if he jumps ship after one year to go coach a bottom side and start the process all over again for a few extra bucks !

Not sure his coaching is the problem! His recruitment has been short sighted for the club though!

Not a whole lot for the future there. Not saying these guys are no good, as they can play, but they do get exposed for pace & fitness when you have so many in the 1 line up

Just cant work! Not on a regular basis. Its unfortunate, but there would be all sorts of implications for opposing Team etc in the Mallee. Imagine if your Murrayville fighting for a spot in finals, & 10 Mypolonga B Graders turn up & you get beat & miss because of it. In theory- great for Karoonda, but not so for the club they are playing

Suppose this is why after the end of June there is no permits allowed. Personally i dont have a major problem with people who arent getting an opportunity going and having a kick although in Mypos defense the first game of the year Meningie had 10 B graders missing out. Within 3 weeks due to injury and whatnot we were scratching for players so things can change very quickly.

But again in saying all of that i think in junior grades that this should be more widely looked at. For instance lower populated areas that struggle to fill kids grades should be looking at other clubs / leagues and there should be a pretty open permit rule allowing kids to move from club to club in pursuit of a game of football. Hate to think of the number of kids missing out on a weekly basis because of too many numbers

I wouldn't class myself as an Imperial, yeah I support them but don't have anything more to do with the club.
Ramblers just beating Meningie
Ramblers losing to Mypolonga
And the main reason I heard was because Chooks where to soft and this week coming up against one of the toughest teams so that is my big reason

Bit soft like the first round ;)

I'd say imps will win but hardly a 28 goal win. More like 28 points id say

Was there that day RyderCourtney and it wasn't Chooks being hard rd 1 it was Chooks using the ball better and Imps blowing every chance they had with it :) I wouldn't expect a 28 goal win either but what I have heard from ramblers people they have just swept the last few weeks under the rug and nothing has changed quote from a ramblers life member "it was like having 21 Patrick O'Neils out there Saturday!"

Imps far too good for Ramblers this time round. Although the Ramblers do play well at the beach. Strange move by the league to hold association at a ground with a centre square made of sand.

Mannum over Jervois. Ladhams to bag his usual score but not enough for them to win. Rumour has it, the acid has been poured all over a few of the Mannum players so it will be interesting to see how they respond.

Mypo far too strong for Tailem. Jones will match up on Wark well and that's where it ends for Tailem unfortunately.
