Ladder is interesting. Ramblers 4 wins,1 loss and 1 draw???
Word has it, the umpires found another 3 votes for Hally today, giving him 21 votes from the first 6 rounds!

So Ramblers are playing to finish second hey? Interesting considering we gave Imps a bath in round one and beat Mannum more comfortably than they did just a week earlier.

Get your head out the sand mate!

We have almost as many new players as Mannum and Mypo in our team and I only expect to get better as the season progresses. Our bench we had on the weekend had about 15-20 senior games experience between them so they will only grow in confidence and ability.

I admit at the start of the season that Imps deserved to be hot favourites and probably still are, fact is we arent playing for second and why would we ???

Early days I know, and this may bite me on the bottom. But I hate to say I told you so  Mypo are serious players....

Is there a new voting system i dont know about because last time i played it was 3,2,1 votes given by the umpires. If so 6 BOGs would only give 18 votes

I watched Tailem v Mypo at the start of the year and i was very impressed with Mypo's running players in the second half. I think with what they have recruited and their current young local players they could be a real chance to be right up there at the end of the season

Yeah, mypo made us look second rate yesterday. Doesn't help when we have guys with swollen egos out there thinking they don't have to do the hard yards when it gets tight and dirty. I also think the coaches need to have a good hard look at themselves when we have 3 young smaller blokes sitting on the bench when it raining cats and dogs while some of our big guys were having zero impact!

Was great to watch Wark and Wait go head to head yesterday and to watch the wonderfully talented Owen Love settle his differences and play a great game yesterday. Another point to come out of yesterday is the Jervois are officially gone in 2012. All does not seem well out there but a very hefty contract will ensure Ladhams sees the year out.

Did they go head to head FTO? Would have been great to see as usually Wait plays loose and Warky has three hanging off him. I'd love to see Warky given the freedom of one against one most weeks, that would be delightful.

It was a great one on one battle. Waity was pretty disciplined although I think Imps will be a far better team if he is given the same freedom as he had last year. I think Collins is making him play more defensively to give someone else a chance to win a Mail Medal!!

Hally is on fire picking up another lazy 3 votes even with the bye (and on 1 leg)..... He is a true superstar and with all of those AFL games he racked up, Knows how to catch the umpies eye, although it was at the Pretoria Hotel on Saturday night.

Heard that a favorite son who is coaching in another league (1st year coach) will be hotly chased next season to coach the Bluds.

Well I was thinking Sam Mahoney at first, but he coached the Bluds in 2008 and is in his second year with Brighton.
