Stupid point, Echunga A'grade missed the first week so why wasn't the first round played there?

What so Echunga B grade had the home ground advantage? Echungas oval would have been the better deck but would have only been suitable for the Sunday game.

Yes your point is stupid. 8 clubs missed out on hosting a final in the first week, does that mean all 8 clubs will host a final this week when they're only 2 being played!?!?!?!?!?

Besides the HFL don't probably want to give a cashed up Echunga more cash anyway, when they blow more and more on mercenaries each year. They never use to give Torrens Valley many finals and they have the best oval in the comp.

Never used to Give TV a final????? i'm pretty sure there was a final at Mt Pleasant every year they were in Country Division!!!!!!

hahah Blow money on mercenaries! I think you will find Echunga has recruited quite well this year and all new players seem to have come with the New Coach and not costing the BIG $$$$ most people think.

Who are the so called "mercenaries" at Echunga Footy Warrior? I thought most of the guys there had been there for a while except for 3 guys they added this year?

Sunday would have worked fine, Im sure Meadows and Nairne would have been happy with the flat dry deck.

I went out to watch the Birdwood vs Kersbrook game and noticed Jock McLeay started in the midfield as an onballer! I thought he was their ruckman?
I also noticed Kersbrook Man Mountain of a ruckman didn't play, is he injured?
I also heard that Birdwood had recruited an indigenous goal scorer who was being paid big dollars, but the only aboriginal player out there didn't seem to kick any goals.
Must admitt was a bit disappointed in the game, especially Birdwood as Kersbrook seemed to control most of the game and do it easy.

Can't be all locals in their B grade. The A grade coach played B grade on the weekend. Why would he do that and make a fool of himself?

The HFL clearly not keen on using good (dry) ovals, such as Echunga..... why would that be?[/qute]
Take it you haven't been to kersbrook oval lately, probably be able to play in sneakers sunday. Have heard prelim at callington and gf back at maccy
Was at Kersbrook oval about a month ago - it was OK.... more a case of being not particualarly central. When you look at the ground, and they way it "sits" you would think it would be wet, but drainage must be reasonable.

Heard the same re Cally & Maccy - not wanting to flog the provebial dead horse, but really do Cally deserve to host a final, dry oval or not!
Pinarello when does not being central mean not being a good dry oval i am sure Birdwood are not complaining having to drive 10 mins to play on Sunday.
How about Kangarilla - bet they are wrapped to be taking the water bag trip to Kersbrook!
Finals are programmed around who is playing in the A grade not the under 17s
What have maccy done to deserve 2 finals, when other clubs with ovals in good condition and with better facilities get none? Seems a bit strange to me!

Animus lives!
If he did coach them he still is as they're through to the prelim, so probably doing a pretty good job.

Have you got your application in for the senior job at Kangy 2013 yet Animus?

Hey Diddy - that's great news...where and when are they playing? i might come for a look

Plenty of offers on the table for next season but have not heard from the powers at Thorpeville yet.

Might be looking to add another assistant next year, have you seen Dirk T lately?
