He certainly isn't afraid to wear thongs to training! Poor Chrissy felt his hammy go in the 1st quarter, but battled on bravely. You're talking about thongs on your feet aren't you Swampie?

You are telling me Gulliver we had to wait all year for you to post something and all you can come up with is a personal attack on an individual and then follow it up with a list of excuses as to why you werent good enough to win the Flag. I do admire the way you suck up to the Mallala people on the site about how they were too good in an effort to disguise the fact that like Muckhole you are bitter about losing. Schuby was there last year and years before that but you didnt win so losing him wasnt the telling factor. Oh thats right, Muckhole and the eagles won those. And if Che might have only played a half i'm sure you would still have selected him so that is a pointless argument. You beat the MAggies earlier this year by 10 goals and surprise surprise Gav kicked 8 of them. 200 a goal was it?
Thats great new friendships have been formed in Long Plains as friends come in very handy when you are drowning your sorrows so here is hoping some water is left in that tower.
I can say the eagles were bitter they lost to United who were too good, but if we had Andy, Richard, Jack WIlson, and Bags Williams, or even Old Baumy playing or even if Douggy Serle made a comeback im sure we would have beaten you guys. If only they werent retired it could have been a different story.
Here is what ill do for you Gulliver so you dont have to go on your travels again, i will ask Muck if you can borrow won of his premiership medallions (i think he's got 4?)and you can hang it up at the club to help you guys feel a little bit better.

Apparently sales have plumetted (spell check) this week and now i can see why. PS cheers for the fat lip mick taylor.
Just on the sulking, pull your head in mens or boys and just wait until next year to regain some bragging rights. If you blokes were at the pub, someone would prob belt the both of ya, blokes bitching amongst themselves is not the way to go, so why do it on here??
The cockettes enjoyed the festivities too Rooster, all were present at the Mallala footy club sat night and the pub on sunday and were in top form too. Well done to lee on the B & F, hope he spends the prizemoney on fixing the glass door he punched in at Mallala FC on Saturday night  Our dinner is tonight, so ill keep you posted. J Mont will prob be B&F and L Whittwell R-U, J hollitt unlucky mate, but what a great year he had

That's an intelligent comment mate. Calling every b grader at every club a loser. If you want us to respect our elders, at least act like one. Of course only B graders remember premierships. We win them for each other, and we celebrate with each other! Pull your head in. 8)

Our dinner is tonight as well. Broady would be favourite for the B & F. Warnsey or Big Paulie for R/Up.

Went over a had a gander at out neighbours on Saturday arvo at Nuri and was truly disappointed with the standard and pace of their game. The quality of footy being played around our association is a credit to all involved. Our free flowing fast running style of play that is seen in most apfl games would have trounced either of those sides yesterday. It was a real slow chip, chip, chip over coached brand of footy that bored me and the boys shitless. For a grand final in a comp regarded as one of the better country leagues that also pay the big big bucks to be played at such a poor standard was unbelievable. The most obvious observation was the fact that all these clubs are recruiting big name guns whom are getting all the $$$$$$$ and most of them did a job that most locals could do without any problems. The game was made for old men. The fact Freeling are allowed 10 or 11 imports says it all about that league. Ill take playing in and the spectacle of the APFL anyday boys.

Like most blokes I would have thought the Nuri association would have been a better quality considering the number of imports involved. Seems like they should be over watching our comp instead of the other way round. What was the final score Swamp? To quote Sheeds, looks like "they play that basketball style crap".

2.6 each in the first quarter. Must have been a cyclone over Nuri last Saturday. Good to see Farls for Freeling kick 3 goals. Shame they died in the ass big time in the last quarter!

Sounds like both teams did what they could to lose it!

There is a certain sterility in that league, the footy at times can be good but in terms of passion and wanting to be there and play, it is sadly lacking behind a lot of leagues.

The Gawler teams are struggling and have done so for quite a few years, they've got some problems in that paddock.

Where i think the standard of our league has gradually gotten better in recent years, and mainly because of the type of blokes that we have in the game out here. Yeah we have Longies who aren't afraid of seeking out AFL listed players and asking them if they want a kick, but still they have had a lot of good players/blokes who have been around for a while.

Well done on 150 Swampy, the bubbly keeps flowing at your place :D

Ahh it was good to rest the bones on the weekend. Expected some backlash for the comments but wedgies was lame ass.Yes i am bitter about losing its human nature.Forget not. For it was your boy who was first to sling the mud.Do you honestly think that UFC is not going to return fire after the comments he made? If the UFC has been trying to buy premierships all these years , how do you explain our facilities?Maybe we found an old bottle on top of the tower ,Rubbed it, and a genie came out and granted us all our wishes. Your going to have to start thinking about stocking your own pond soon , not being able to field a full senior colts side all year. Where are the mighty locals going to come from now? Hope there are a few power failures out that way soon.I bet poor old platt's phone bill was huge at the end of this winter trying to scrape a side together. United is movin on up, with the first senior colts premiership in 20 years ,b grade flag and a grade runner up we have something to look forward to.Oh yeah, all those worthy veterens you mention played for hummocks. NOT THE EAGLES.Douggie Searle excluded.
