A shame that one of the "moderators" decided to carefully delete a post of mine about the AGM and aspects of the current presidency, without PM'ing me about it. Good to know we are allowed to raise things in an adult manner without fear of censorship.

So - the HFL President is a decent, wonderful, honorable person who has never, ever, ever done anything untoward and should be roundly congratulated for everything they have ever, ever done in their role. Maybe I am allowed to say this. Maybe next time I'll post something about blokes chucking their guts up over pub balconies, or about women snotting each other at club functions, or back-and-forths about blokes who have a w*nk and any one of the numerous other posts on the forum that are allowed to stay up.

Missed it PP, bummer. That's what happens when you waste a good Satdy arvo talkin footy at the local 'stead of doing it on here. I'll keep it clean and won't mention Nash's mum. I agree with all you say about the HFL President. And I don't think newspapers should be allowed to report issues in an honest manner either. I think delegates and committees should be done away with and the whole process be streamlined to just one person.

Raider Rep, The moderators have a legal responsibility to ensure that nothing potentially libellous is posted on this site. If you expect to be able to post anything you chose without moderation, then maybe you are on the wrong site mate.

This site encourages healthy debate and posters are free to have their opinion, but only as long as the rules of the site are observed. If you step outside of the rules, then your post will be canned. That's how it is i'm afraid, and that's what happened in this case.

As for there being any point of posting on here, you will have to decide that for yourself.

Thanks to the two mods that did send PM's last night, explaining their reasons, that was appreciated. I don't agree at all (and thanks for Raider, Magpie in 80's and The Crumber for their support on this)- especially when a quick scan of other posts on this forum and others are a lot more direct (eg. naming players and their *alleged* salaries and demands, naming people allegedly involved in incidents without a shred of proof) and make some incredibly slanderous accusations about people directly - but have to accept it. I take the point the site is run by volunteers who do an excellent job at it, and can't afford legal issues to arise. Hopefully this policy is applied evenly and fairly in future of course.

The Prez is a wonderful, honorable person who deserves no criticism for anything at any stage. Years of great service and nothing wrong with any of it.

End of rant. ;-) ;-)

Aaron Bishop to Hahndorf, premiership player with sturt in 02 Brett Howman looks to be on his way to Hahndorf to, pretty close to signing up Brad Dubois also, apparently very good mates with trent shoreland and timmy knappstein, looking forward to having a chat with Bradley. seems like a good young lad

Would have thought Hahndorf would be well & truly nudging 35 points if Bishop, Howman, Dubois & Nicholas are all coming on board.

Sounds like it's gonna be a good competition this year boys.

Any further updates on Onkas recruiting? From what I can tell they'll be solid, as to will hahndorf clearly. The Devils have lost a few but will certainly be strong once again. The cabbage, well who really cares about the cutters, they've lost two grand finals in a row...and they stink! If Uraidla aren't broke yet, surely it won't take much longer.

Word on the street is Matty Penny is heading back to Lofty. All of a sudden a few forward positions have opened up, Penny would be handy jagging a few sausage rolls.

Will Birdwood be big improvers this year? They'd wanna be!

Hopefully Jason 'Bottler' Oborn can keep the morale high enough at Tiger land to keep the locals rocking up. Will be a big derby this year between the tigers and roosters.

Birdwood junior Darren Pfeiffer was given a second chance at AFL football today when Carlton picked him up.... let's hope he can now be as consistent and successful as the other favourite son from Birdwood Scotty Burns!

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before but I assume that means Shorland and Knappstein won't be at Meadows next year either.

blackwood will loose several players in 08 due to coaching structures of 07, i know a couple that are leaving with a certain coach to phos cambden, some are leaving to noarlunga for some decent $$$ and others are heading off to scotch old scholars for mates and also a few extra $$$ for the really good ones.

Are you sure Cooper is a former junior.... I thought he only went to the club when he was 19 or 20 or so..... big difference between 1 and 4 points
