King and Sziller retired at the end of last season.

Pity as they were the only ones that came in for a chat and a drink after the last game.

The Legend, will be in a Tigers guernsey next season for sure. Jason King is a couple of years retired but Damien will continue while Oborn is coach. Otherwise some Blue and Blue might appeal to him.

Apologies to robby... It would appear being good mates with a guy doesnt mean you know all about him haha. Saucey trained with Flagstaff Hill last night. God knows why he would go there! Hopefully just using it as leverage with Ironbank.

Ironbank may want to be careful with its rookies who have been there since they were 6 yrs old by sounds of things. Couple unhappy with asking for their subs to be paid for yet being knocked back. Would hate for them to leave over such a little amount.

Has there been any news on the AGM held on Monday night? Did the "Great One" get ousted?

Quite right Mop Up a number are now actively looking or even not saying no to initial contacts which could lead to an interest if $$$ are involved. Could lead to some interesting times ahead. Preseason may be down on numbers. The Valley haven’t made any approaches? :?:

Congratulations on your efforts on Saturday as well. :D
You guys did better than where I went on Saturday against Klun, Contin, Tanner and crowd they killed us in D Grade. :(

Interesting all the talk on Owen but no one stands against him. I will be interested to see what happens with the apologies demanded of TV or else. OR ELSE what?

If you blokes still consider yourselves Ironbank supporters perhaps you might consider airing you dirty laundry with the club, rather than on this forum. Why don't we just put the names of the players on offer up so all clubs can have a crack?

AF- Thats exactly the point. The club knows the players involved would never dream of leaving the club so they get treated differently... But i agree, probably best not to be discussed on here...

But back on footy... Can anyone confirm that u14.5 will now be an u15 comp?
Personally i think its a great idea and should help retain a lot of the kids that go missing when going from u14 to u17.

Gee I hope the young Ironbank crew can keep it all together, they're an exciting side to watch and are definately going places. Money is always going to be an issue in this day and age. I think teams should take a leaf out of Morphett Vale's book. They don't throw big coin around because they simply don't have it. The players play there because they want to play with their mates and really enjoy their footy and the club. Love em or hate em, they've won 4 flags in a row and are a fair chance at number 5. Just a thought.

A big shame no-one put their hand up for the job. With the lack of confidence most clubs seem to have in O, Humphrey Bear would have been voted in had he stood. The apology being demanded of Torrens Valley seems to be downright cheeky and suggests that clubs have no right of complaint and no avenue to be heard. What was the problem anyway? TV signed their email. Do all those libelled through Owen's self-penned bogus letters to the Final Siren over the years get an apology too? Lets hope TV dig their heals in and see what happens.
I've just been through the HFL constitution and can't see where they dragged that demand from, or what they can consititutionally do if TV refuse. I guess O will just have to self-rule again on that one.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.
