The Duke wrote:Ramblers to def Jervois - Ramblers to back up their season opener and account for a slow and unfit Jervois. Jervois midfied will miss fire without Coulter, while the forward 50 is a one trick pony and reliant on C.Ladhams.
Mannum to def Taliem Bend - No Chief, no Quinn, No Girardis, no problems. Tailem won’t have enough ammunition to stop man mountain Jim Hales at CHB. While there is no Love left at the Bend!!! Hope Hazel can save his pennies to get into the gate.
Mypolonga to def Meningie - Only records set will be at the gate, Motlop and McLeod to get an induction to country footy and sent back up The Dukes Highway with no cigar.

Not bad by The Duke. Some amusing moments. I think you'll find Jim Hales is a CHF unless the goals attributed to him last week were a typo...

I will be jumping the fence this week (I hope the bloke at the gate is as old as the fella at Jervois) and going straight to the bar for a couple of $3.50 West End draughts (cheapest in SA)!!!! Go the Roo Boys..

They certainly won't be smoking a cigar heading in that direction. Are they playing in Melbourne after Mypo?

How did Harvey and Pech perform for Mannum last week?
Both good players in the BL&G comp and should be able to perform well in the RMFL.

Both were solid contributors and will be good players for the club. It was also said that Craig "Diddles" Harvey walked the umpires bags in for them with a beautifully homemade cake supplied also. Sure to not only win the hearts of Mannum fans, but the RMFL umpires mutually.

Both Quality players who have had an impresive 3 games (2 trials) with the Roo's, love the fact they are ball carriers who always look long before giving off. I would think the club should be very happy with all of their imports so far.

Word from league headquarters is the RMFL has hired security for the RMFL's new Peter Hore. Might catch up with Hazel for a cold Schnabel at half time. Maybe stick to the lights until then.

The Duke.

No Love - INCORRECT only no Owen. Ray has still put his hand up for selection & is in the team to play tomorrow.

Sorry dude, Jim is his old man. Played with Jim when we were training to be navy seals. Jarrad was just a twinkle in Jim's eye back then.

What's your source? Do clubs exchange team lists the night before each game?
