Any news on the coaching job down at McLaren as of yet??

Heard they were talking to a player / coach from VIC??

He used to captain/coach Langhorne Creek when McLaren first moved to GSFL. I think he was coaching in the Hills somewhere this year.

Not 100% sure but names like

Ellis
Mitchell
Jaggard

By the sounds of it this Lynch bloke from aldinga has put in for just about every vacant coaching position going around.For memory its now m/vale,hackham,lonsdale,c/bch,h/valley and now mclaren.He obviously loves his coaching.

Apparently did get an interview and supposedly was told that they couldn't appoint someone who would drop the major sponsor's son - in reference to what happened at Maccy this season - but to be fair to Mitchell, he did the right thing cos if it hadn't been the major sponsors son he would have been dropped sooner.

Think he can coach but probably needs to be at a club where most of the cattle is already in place.
