Bays 10 you are a fool callington do have their problems , But what you are saying did not happen I was introduced to Mitch after the game .
I would suggest you keep a close eye on Encounter Bay with their track record they will self destruct

Digraceful, should be thrown out immediately.
With three wins today of over 170 points the association has become even more of a laughing stock than it already was.
23 goals in a quarter is outrageous

Certainly not going to go into it again but unfortunately with no promotion/relegation like their is in the amateurs, the have nots are going to get it handed to them. If this comp was another 500 km from Adelaide you wouldn't get this disparity but having said that, some of these clubs would have shut up shop long ago if that was the case and as I've said before, Kersbrook's side for example would have won every grand final from about 1997 - 2006 by between 20 - 40 goals if you could transplant their current side - and they're currently 3rd on the ladder - back in time so I find it quite humorous that this comp is somehow more of a joke now even though the top 4 sides are light years ahead of the sides that were running around in the '90's and early 2000's.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion Jim but some of these other twits from div 6 amateurs making ridiculous comments, what a joke!

Mick Daniele, sorry about the injury mate but you've been a real trooper for the 4 years you've been there.

What did Daniele do and is it his last game for the Red and Blacks?

A real nasty hamstring injury and think this was going to be his last year at club anyway.

Cheers bf, I just did. According to the Final Siren and Courier, Callington had this to say:- "We welcome Sedan-Cambrai today which will be a more competitive match than a thoroughly under manned side last week against the Brookers. A shellacking like that won't be repeated today or again! This club won't lie down and cop that, maybe on the chin with heads held high for the guts our boys show every week and for not responding to taunts directed at us shows there's more balls here than the ones dishing it out".

The Courier match report was titled "The final agony".

Apt, obvious, sad; what else can one say? This was once a very proud club.

At least they were more competetive against Sedan Cambrai. Only lost by 170+ points. Oh dear

There is no bigger example of fools pride than the Callington Football Club and personally I have no sympathy for the way in which they have handled themselves. The current administration has ruined the work of the previous one.
Put simply they should've looked forward to rebuild the club by dropping voluntarily to C'Grade, building up a strong junior base, creating an environment to maintain senior players and then having a run at country division again.
Sad time for SA footy and the HFL who surely will be forced to do SOMETHING now! Here's an idea, re-write teh by-laws to cover things like thi!

Congratulations to Sedan Cambrai, back to back wins in the A's and B's today against Macclesfield, and a quite convincing win in the A's at that! Definitely a step in the right direction for the club. Well done boys.

i agree it was a good effort by sedan cambrai today, but they only justify their right to be in hills country when they can field the required junior teams.

Not really a fair comment to direct at them given that 5 out of the 10 clubs do not have a full compliment of Juniors, with one of those other clubs having none at all.
Secondly, the only teams required by the HFL Constitution / by-laws are A/B/SC/JC (Central, U13 are not listed as required) and A & B for Country (does not list ANY Junior team requirements)

Yeah well lets hope that changes for next season! If you can't field 4 teams, than you shouldn't be playing in central or country div.
