But if they are not contracted I dont see how they can refuse a clearance even if they don't fill out a retirement form,,

The Tailem Bend v Murrayville v Lameroo is not necessarily A grade and B grade, its an innovative format playing 2 clubs on the same day. Its actually a great indicator that the playing depth at Tailem Bend is on the improve as around a dozen of the players selected to face Murrayville I believe played A grade footy for Tailem Bend in 2011. Just wanted to make that clarification, also I'm excited to see so many of the Tailem Senior sqaud playing this weekend, spots will be tough this year so I'm keen to see who wants to be in the first 21 come Round 1.

Either way, Tailem get 8 quarters of footy against two different opponents.

And Grasshopper, Tailem Bend take on reigning Hills country premiers Echunga next weekend.

Heard last night Murrayville pulled the pin. Bit disappointing, was hoping to get some word on how Murrayville are looking this year. Good luck to the hawks

'Tailem' you rocket scientist, not talem, and for us its a way of accommodating and supporting clubs that are neighbors to us outside of the RMFL. If not innovative then considerate Chump

I hadn't heard if Murrayville had pulled out; where did that news come from?

Tailem Bend beat Lameroo by 25 goals for what it's worth.

Both sides undermanned.

Was having a chat to a mate from barrosa and didn't get to watch the whole game but Imperials were very good in both senior teams both winning easily and both undermanned with close to 10 players being out and some of those names - Jason Puattii, Girdham, Hodge, Mason, Lienert and Hancock aswel as some other reserve players
Looks like they will be up there again in 2012 but only trials at the moment, I think the lads have Mt Lofty under lights Saturday

Had a look at the Mypo vs Nairne game. Nairne won an entertaining reserves games and Mypo were about 10 goals up when I left the A grade. It was quite a competitive match but Mypo ran harder and used the big ground better. The new ruckman is quite big but not that mobile. I think he will struggle against the better ruckman in this competition. Adam Eckermann didnt play and I reckon they will improve on last year but on what I saw they wont be a top three side. Need a big forward to be competitive with the top sides. I did notice Martin running around in the reserves however.
