Interesting that an applicant who was after next season's Bridgewater coaching job, who was told that he won't get it, thinks that his club of the 2007 season (Macclesfield) bad mouthed him to their committee but what he doesn't realise is that someone who was involved at Maccy, but not in an official capacity, lives next door to the most recent Bridgewater President!!!!!

Things are reasonably positive at the moment all things equal but I've honestly got no idea who's going to be appointed.
When you say "ginger" do you mean the one in the asian region at the moment?

At the risk of copping more grief   , the Macclesfield Recreation Grounds committee is undertaking some fairly major drainage repair works as of early November so hopefully the condition that is has been will be a thing of the past and it will probably see them getting a Grand Final or two in the next ten years.

Just to keep the theme going Barker has had some major drainage work completed late last week. As above, hopefully it will improve the situation until the new site is ready to go starting in 2010, all going to plan.

Very doubtful, he is just mates with a few of the boys. But then again, who wouldn't want to play at Lofty?

I heard one of their players wasn't too impressed with the club not putting on any free piss after 3 grades all winning flags. He said it was a bit of a joke. Also heard there was a bit of a scuffle between a couple of players grand final night

There hasn't been free beers after any of the GF wins, who cares though, when you win a GF nothing else matters......I guess you wouldn't know.

I heard this too rock- the fact that he coaches a gaelic footy team shows that he is interested in the coaching side. He certainly has the footy pedigree.

I heard that Mt Lofty, Bridgewater and Ironbank are going to merge and call themselves the Middle Hills Shitfish.
They will play on the Crafers Primary School Oval and the emblem will be a giant cod.
Get that up the rumor mil.
I also heard Sturt are going to forfeit their SANFL licence to the new Shitfish team. Sturt will now feature in the HFL and be known as the double dongers.
