Down & Out, I could be wrong, but Supa has played a fair bit of football in the Mallee.
He will correct me on this if I'm wrong.

Certainly agree with you on the Lester Cattle front down and out... I think there are and have been some good umpires in the Mallee League but he would certainly not be one of them... this is a view shared league wide.... he is quite erratic.. there have been days I have seen him do a good job and others where he has lost control of a game totally..

keep listening down and out, dont fight it....

Mallee Match Preview –12/5/2007

Peake v Lameroo

Peake were extremely confident of recording their first win last week against Karoonda, but fell short. They have some good recruits and Steve Hann in his first game was strong across half back. Tim Aloisi has explosive speed on a wing with Mark Boothey & Shaun Holland adding strength in the midfield. Jamie & Toby Downs are good targets at the goal front, but Stephen Morris needs support in ruck to give Peake more opportunities at the clearances.
Lameroo brushed Pinnaroo aside last week, with Shaun Walker continuing his brilliant form despite being in some doubt with a hamstring injury. Ben Venning proved he can be a goal kicker and Josh Ridgway is a great opportunist small forward.
Lameroo have too many options and will defeat Peake this week.

Murrayville v Pinnaroo

Murrayville recorded a good win against BDT at Tintinara last week and have players running into form. Shannon Wyatt is getting better each week & provides an option to Clayton Sporn in the forward line. Rian Crane is a mobile half forward and Drew Crane is building all the time. James Dixon will be back to support Will Dalwood in ruck, with Damien Fenoughty & Kevin Wyatt damaging in the midfield.
Pinnaroo were disappointing against Lameroo and will need to rebound quickly to trouble Murrayville. Sunyl Vogt is the prime mover for Pinnaroo, but he needs strong support from Nick Westphalen, Clint Muster, Brett Gum, Paul Pitkin & Brad Schroeder. Wade Nickolls, Matt Thiel & Chad Nickolls are all good ruckmen, but Pinnaroo need to find the best fit for them all in the same line up. Mark Gum is always a danger up forward.
Murrayville to win at home.

Karoonda v BDT

Karoonda returned to the winners list with a hard fought win against Peake. Jason Morris & Lucas Neumann need to get first hand on the ball in ruck to give runners Justin Maloney, Simon Martin, Todd Boughen, Scott Huxtable & Mal McLean first use from the stoppages. Stephen Thiele & Donald Andrews were good on the wings last week and the defence of Eli Koch, Andrew Smithson & Gavin Wohlfeil are holding up well. Luke Hocking is a dangerous target up forward & Adrian Gregory is providing an option at half forward.
BDT went down to Murrayville, with the only “name” player to make the best players Luke Remfry. Josh & Lachlan Richardson are quality in the midfield & Jarvis Webb has been playing well in ruck. Nathan Todd kicked 7 out of his teams 8 goals last week and obviously needs support to spread the load.
If BDT turn up with their best team, they will start favorites in what should be a close match.

We did have the two murray umpires on sat. i no i only played Div 7 last year and have played it for the last couple of seasons but all im saying is i have never seen so many free kicks to full fowards ever. Im not blamming it on our loses as we have been a bit of the mark all season. just hard to bust your guts in the backline to then hear a full forward go down screaming and have the umpire run in award a free kick and talk to the full foward on first name bases and be happy with what he has done. After seeing some of the free kicks that Jamie Downs didnt get on sat i had the thought that it was as if the umps didnt want us to get close. Maybe im wrong?

maybe you should umpire if your worried about cash all the time. i heard that the mini colts are on $25 a game plus a pie and a coke for the a grade boundary. you could even do the magoos if you get in quick???????????. bring a white shirt. whistle is supplied.

Mallebull i didnt mean it in a negative way, i was just wondering if it was anywhere near the mark You really need to relax champ and not take any bloody post personal. Chill out

D/W don't doubt that he has played a lot of footy in the Mallee so should remember Peake were a real power- sad to see A grade where they are now- Certainly things seem on the up and as you can tell blokes playing there seem pretty happy- imagine if they do win a couple of games!!
Bit concerned about crowmuncher looking through the curtains at Dippers G/F
