I doubt Mcleod will play for Meninge after signing on in a coaching role for the Adelaide crows

Bunji will def play a few games, with Motty there he'll def play. He's still in the sharpest form kicking somethin like 7 goals in his last game. He's still keen to play the game, especially with his good mates.

Dont be surprised if another couple of ex-Power players end up at the Bears too

This could go one of 2 ways - Motlop could struggle with the coaching and his ability to maintain discipline..or we could see some real high quality players at the Bears and a revitalised Meningie FC challenging the top clubs in the league.

..will be interesting to see which other Power players may play at the Bears, perhaps P Burgoyne? Ware?

The Love boys are far from certain starters in the RMFL regardless of contracts, Noodles Ware is a very strong chance to play at the Bears. Motlop will not be in the best shape next season and rightly so is enjoying his post AFL days and I agree that discipline will be an issue. Correct me if Im wrong but I think the RMFL umpries would be hotter on some things than the NTFL ones and he was rubbed out for 6 games up there.

I was just seeking an update, given that they've been linked to 6 different clubs this off season.

Ray and Owen Love will definitely be at Tailem in 2012. Sumner will be there too.

I think that would be Adam Eckermann, who's rumoured to be returning to Mypo after a year in the SANFL with the Magpies.

I think Imps will struggle to recruit those blokes given they've already signed with new SANFL clubs for 2012.

I think that would be Ben Gogel who played juniors at Sturt this season just gone.

edit: you asked Gogel at Imps, thats Matthew Gogel, although he's been away the last season or 2.

Ben Gogel is at Ramblers.

Pretty sure Marchetti still hasnt had a knee recon and wont be back until 2013, Button still no certainty to play in 2012 (or ever again) and i'm not sure about the Vogt rumour. Josh Barras will be back mid season and his brother Trent who played 2 games and about 10 min for us will be playing again, lets see if he can avoid injuries for more than 5 minutes this time

The hunting doesnt require covert operations at $900 a game each.
It is ludicrous money for a couple guys that have never played league footy.
This point system is working so well, does nothing but drive up the $$$value of good country footballers, forcing their local clubs to try and compete to hang onto their zero pointers as well as fork out the huge cash to get some points players to boost their own stocks.
This is having the opposite effect to what it is meant to, only the rich clubs will taste success.

Sorry dont agree with this , I think all clubs should look after there locals first to create a good environment so that when u recruit the bigger fish they fit in well and hang around . Get that base and build around it that is how you build a club . There are a couple of clubs in the hills that do it well .. Uriadlia are one of the best at it for me .
