Got on the gas yesterday with Pete and he's a bloody good lad. First time I'd met him and probably won't be the last time either.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Have to agree that Pete Smith is looking the early medal fav.

Judging by the phone calls I copped last night, there are going to be some very tender lads this morning.
The bus driver would have earnt his money on the trip home.

I'm never drinking again.

Poor Matty Raison copped a big hit on Saturday from Arrod Westley.
Was a great hip and shoulder from Westley, but poor Matty ended up with a busted shoulder or collarbone I think. Both players put their bodies on the line.
Shame to see a player of his quality on the sidelines and hopefully he returns ASAP.

Great to catch up with Big Sexy on the weekend too.
Got me with an elbow early on, but I reckon I had the better of him at the end of the day! ;)
Although I believe he had money on the Crows to win by more than 39.5 so he would have been grinning on Saturday night.

Independent watchers will be interested to note that newly married Adam St John, as featured in last week's Sunday Mail, has taken over the coaching job at Ovingham in Div 7 in Adelaide.
His last gig was with Wunkar.

Shane Schubert was impressive on the weekend.

Seemed to enjoy himself out there too.

Big question is, the Tigers reckon they have him for the year, while the bloke playing on Schubert reckons Shane was still undecided.

Can anyone confirm ANYTHING? lol

DW.. I knew we could rely on you to relay the info.
Has a Old Wunkar feel about it (New Wunkar appeared to have turned a corner under Watson)..
Small Club.. plenty of potential, hard to get players on the track, although there is the luxury of A's and B's to choose from.
Lost by 67 pts on the weekend after being 18pts down at 3/4 time.
A.Cooke didnt play due to work and B.Lines enjoyed a fair bit of it on a wing/hbf.

As for newly wed.. they take there time getting pic's in the paper and honeymoon is well and truely over, but loving life down here in town

yes the smell was me.. have had plenty of crap flung my way over the years.
but i've come up.. smelling like roses.

and honestly.. was Harry doing giving up on the whole North Adelaide thing.
More than capable at that standard.. only problem he had was injury last year and a now ex coach.
Should be in Red/White carving it up, sure plenty SANFL clubs would've shown some interest in him.

Wouldn't mind hearing a first hand report on what actually happened, makes you wonder how the two heads kept him in check last year wonder if there was a reason why they didn't try and keep him.

Was at the Loxton game yesterday Peter Smith was unstoppable surely has to be an early favourite for the medal.

How can you say that he should be made an example of, then say you want to know what happened. There was stuff all in the incident, two people having a crack at each other and one just happened to cop one, umpires seen it (reeksy) and he loves whipping out those red cards.

The kid either has balls of steel or is completely stupid to try and go toe-to-toe with the said offender

Surely he wouldn't have instigated it, and even if he did, he's a kid!!! DK - Did you see it? Will it be weeks and if so, how many do you reckon?

no didn't see it, but if reeksy gave a red card and didn't offer a mandatory sentence surely it's got to be worth more than 2

Would't have instigated it? just punched him for standing next to him?

Not saying it was the right thing to do, but you mess with the bull you get the horns!
