I'll go with Simon Ebert to win from Trigger in Central Div. Maybe Smart from Onkas as an outsider.

Give me some credit TWE for the Quinella!! Thanks to Callington, for not giving the chance to Brad Pearce to poll more votes. Although Morrisey has had a good year.

That was gold, finally got a chance to have a look.
They have a bunch of clips on there...it'd be a bit against the tide, but the boys have a sniff of back-to-back.

the devils 17s have certainly made coming from nowhere to win the premiership a habit, wouldnt be surprised if they did it again. 2006 they came from 4th, 2004 they came from 5th and in 2002 mt barker were stone cold favourites all year and the devs pipped em at the post hopefully this year the boys can do it again

Clearly Sodomka is a cut above B Grade. Why doesn't he play A Grade anymore?

Pommy Hack Wickey... It's a combination of shift work & care factor for Donkey boy. Would walk into any A-grade side in HFL if he wanted, he just doesn't have the availability/drive to play OR train 3 times a week at the minute. He's played League & 100 odd ressies games (Bays), won multiple A-grade B&F's & a premiership with Marion (2000)...with nothing to prove right now he just loves the relaxed approach that is B-grade HFL footy.

May well return to A-grade next year though as no doubt Exelby will have another chip at him for wasting his ability in the magoos.

Not a bad season for a bloke who missed a couple of games, played 3 or 4 with no sleep (after night shift) & trained no more than 10 times all year...

Take a bow PP :goodman:

penis legs....that's bloody hilarious twe.

The Devils u17's are masters of timing their run. '02, '04 and '06 was awesome. Even though it's an odd year, the junior Devils will be hard to stop again.

Go you Devils!!!

not a bad effort by birdwood at the mail medal count..
BJ Cunningham came second in the U/14's count w 31 votes
and Cam Steward runner up in the B grade count.. only played half the games.

don't think ill mention the A grade votes though!

it may have been done already, but has anyone got the draw for this weekend so we can all give our well-informed tips?
I think it's...
Central A - Lofty vs Uris
Onkas vs Blackwood

Central B - Lofty vs Ironbank
Uris vs Blackwood

Then I'm a bit hazy

Country A - Meadows vs TV

Yeah, 6 guys got 1 or 2 votes each. I thought Scott Friend may have got a couple more but it's a bit hard when you don't win a game.

CENTRAL DIVISION FINALS TIPS

2ND SEMI
Uri's by 4 goals. Whoever wins it in the midfield will win this game. Lofty's backline has struggled to contain Uri's forwards on both occassions this season so if Uri's can shut down Lofty's midfield it is going to put the Lofty backs under intense pressure. Whilst DK may be able to slightly negate Loffler's influence they don't appear to have anyone who can go with Vidic or the Brown brothers. Be interesting to see how the McLean's go if they line up as they haven't played in nearly a month. Bawden in the ruck is going to be hard to stop though. Wood is a huge loss for Lofty but they have an abundance of quality players to cover him none the less.

1ST SEMI
Onka's by 3 goals. I don't know if Blackwood can recover from last week's thrashing despite the likely inclusions of Gigney & Golding. Blackwood's forwards dont appear fit either. Allen & Carberry were barely able to muster out of a jog last week. Onka's play Heathfield well having beaten Lofty there this year. I think an upset is on the cards.

That's hard to argue with, Ted. I'm a Dev but the Wood loss is MASSIVE, just a great user of the ball.
This will be a cracker.
Both teams are so even, but the ruck could very well win it for lofty. Get Trigger off HBF and get him on the ball.
Could really go either way, but the mind is saying Uris by 17 points.
Onkas are so hot and cold but will not be held by Blackwood.
Gigney won't win the game on his own. From what I heard of Onkas last week, a couple of talls up fwd will do it.
Onkas by 23 points.
B grade - Devs and Uraidla.

Country - Meadows.
