TV beat Echunga yesterday....I would think there would be some very dissapointed people at Echunga at the moment - only team to beat Kangarilla (?) and out after one final.

Kangarilla's last lost was to Kersbrook in Round 7 by 8 goals.

Tate Kaesler would be fairly handy too, Hahndorf could do alot worse than have Tate come back player/coach he would only be 26/ 27 years old could bring some quality with him too.

Cougar,
You would be happy with the TV v Echunga result as you have beaten Tv easily both times this year and you had been beaten by Echunga twice? I saw the game, Echunga should have won they kicked themselves out of it, got within 5 points in the last after being 7 goals down at one stage, they should not be happy with there effort on sunday.

tait keasler or piglet as he is known. Played footy at Sturt then made the move to North Adelaide where he has been plagued by injury. Has played a few league games and for some reason Jars rates him highly. Personally there are better players floating around in the magoos for north then tait.

But having said all of that, if he were to play at the dorf, they would benefit with him in their side. he is hard at the nut, in and under and uses the ball well.

If I were hahndorf's pres I would be sorting that out straight away!
How good is footy!

When is the medal count for the HFL?

Any word on how a couple of younger guys from Blackwood went this year, Lauchy Jones (I think and Adam Read? Also will Byrt from Barks poll a vote or 12?

Think the count is next Wednesday night the 5th of September.
Know there were a few around that didn't rate Byrt too highly but he seems to have gotten in Mt Barker's best players most weeks.

I noticed that, he kicked a few goals and featured in the best most weeks. Awkward looking footballer though.

Reckon we all picked TV. Unfortunately beating TV in the Minor round accounts for SFA this Sunday. We hadn't got close to TV or Meadows last year during the Minor Round, but still managed to scalp them both in the Finals, so we know all too well, that previous form can amount to nothing. Roger is back from the Darwin wedding and Brett's Wife WILL have their first before Sunday, meaning we will be at full strength and offer no excuses. Agree Echunga wouldn't be happy after recruiting up to a dozen footballers and still managing only to come 5th.

You wouldnt want to be missing Brett he was awesome on sat, up there as one of the best individual efforts i have seen, he was a class or two above everyone else out there.

One of the tackles he broke in the bottom pocket had the attempted tackler flying off like he'd just been hit by a train!!!

I give TV a chance if Brett doesnt play, even if Deke Smith isnt playing,it looked like a hamstring injury last week against Echunga.

When he was off for up to 10 minutes in the last quater with the Blood Rule, momentum shifted. Although we were lucky to have him playing at all, as his Misses was due last Thursday!

Interesting Tex, that Coach Stringer paid no attention to Meadows on Saturday, yet was always studying our line ups and ears dropping on Beef at our 1/4 and 3/4 time breaks. Would love to see them Underestimate Meadows, especially if Chad plays like that again.

They dont have the defenders to go with our forward line but in the previous two games they have smacked us in the midfield. We are very confident that we will put up a good showing this week at Callington and you never know, we may even win. We did hear about 15 mins into the last quarter Stringer had to find some extra writing material as he hadnt made any notes on us.
Doesnt matter though he just sends his brother to our training during the week.
