Now thats a great point!
and everyone seems to diss Gatto most. Whats Gatto ever done to any of you? He mite have had a bad season but he does have other things on his mind...like his fiancee is pregnant with his first child!!!

Have people really bagged Gatto? I haven't seen much of it.

Read back a bit and read the baggings Cook and Trent Ordinary Allen received....they copped it.

And if you saw either of them play, you would have bagged them too.

you would think something has happened TC since the hills website STILL hasn't been updated from the W/E

Yes, she did resign. i believe it might've had something to do with the Battams incident and a culmination of issues. I think Jan is back until the AGM.

Jan's back?

At least Owen won't have to put the seat down in the dunny at HFL House then ;-)

A pity, as good to see new blood in the HFL. At the moment, while Owen has left a legacy for years and years of loyal service, it really is time to get someone new and fresh in, with new ideas.

As for Blackwood upsetting Uris.....Doesn't anybody remember Blackwood being unbeatable 3 years ago, not losing a game all season only go out in 2 straight finals? Footy is a strange game remember. Saying that, I think a loss will be good for Uris, just like Lofty's loss to Onkas last year was a wake up call. Massive games this weekend to decide the 5....have to pick IB to sneak in.

If your talking about who i think you are he retired half way through the season, injuries affecting his work,to think no one had noticed he had gone

Thanks for the belly laugh Plunge Penguin!!!! Yeah, seems like she's back and no doubt ready to tear the nuts off hapless Team Managers who fail the teamsheet perfection test, especially with the finals 'n all!

birdwood must be struggling for numbers if he can make the A squad - whats tj thinking????

Silent 11, you'ré a fair dinkum cock brain! You've gone and congratulated crinno in one hand and then insulted him in the other. As if you're that great a footballer to shitcan a bloke who has worked hard and shown loyalty to a club and finally played A's. I know Crinno very well and from what I heard he was havin a run with North Haven earlier this year and was the fittest p[layer out there. Shits me off so much when someone has a crack at young fellas! Silent probably admires from a far and suffers the constant frustration of never seein his boots, due to his fat D grade gut. Okay last round...tips??

Hahndorf vs Blackwood --> Surely the woodsman will win
Uraidla vs Lobethal --> even after the shock of the loss to Blackwood, there is no way that Lobey will beat Uris.
Onkas vs Bridgewater --> Onkas have been average of late, but Bridgewater have just been woeful, Onkas will win
Mt Barker vs Birdwood --> Well, not sure of the current state of the Mt Ronnie oval, but Barker will easily beat the Roosters.
Mt Lofty vs Ironbank --> may be the closet margin this round?? But Lofty will get up.

Demon Girl - Gatto hasn't really been bagged on here at all.
I think you'd know what he's up to, or does your club just want him back?

Good call! I know Crino quite well and he is nothing short of a top bloke who has always strived to play A grade. I'm not 100% sure but i think i recall him being dropped for a B grade GF a few years back and the bloke had the courage to come back up the next year and is now playing A grade! Full marks for effort!

It will be interesting to see how Kersbrook will go this weekend. They seem to of fallen off the pace a bit. Not sure if they have wound things down before the finals or they have just ran out of legs.

So it's Country div finals this weekend, isn't it?
Haven't heard much about it at all!It appears that kangy are a fair stride in front, can Meadows or kersbrook take the flag?
I thought Echunga may have been a bit more of a force, but they seemed to have fallen short a little too often against the stronger teams.
Will be interesting also to see if Mt Lofty rest Florentini and some of the other sore bodies, or go into the finals with a confident win against the Bankers?
Either way, should be a good game and the beer will taste good in 20-odd degrees at Goat Park :drinkers: sweet.

20 degrees in the hills in August??? Who said anything about global warming! What ripping weather for footy. Would be suprised if any are rested prior to finals for Lofty. Will want a good win I'd say.

TWE, Hahndy are struggling BIG time, the 17s are supposed to be the pride of the club but even there struggling atm, weve got a few good youngsters coming threw but not enough, the president needs to take a GOOD HARD LOOK AT THE CLUB, dont worry about making the club rooms look better or making the change rooms bigger worry about getting GOOD quality cattle, once we start winning and being a power house again then the money will start rolling in by the sponsors and gate keepings then u can worry about making things look good.

Well maybe he wasnt bagged on here but... you know ppl gossip!
I do know what he is up to thanks. I was one of the first to know. Just because I haven't shared it with anyone doesn't mean anything. I am not sure if im allowed to say yet anyway! :D
Of course my club wants him back he is red and blue all the way. His family have been around for years and years one of his brothers still plays with us. Hopefully within the next 3 or 4 years all three Gatto boys are playing here.
