So What has happened

Encounter bay ...New Coach, lost a couple of players and on the recruiting track

Goolwa Saints...Coach reappointed for 2 years...he then resigns (Quits) and new Coach appointed
Looks as if they have lost a few players...CHANGE ROOMS STILL ..WORK IN PROGRESS

Langhornes...President stands down to have a crack at the GSFL Presidency. If that does not happen where does he sit
Cannot imagine that he will do nothing. Looking at 2 big recruits

McLaren..Appointed 4 new Coaches and lost 2 coaches to South Juniors. Talking to heaps of players.
Could get a few from Morphett Vale

Myponga..Coach pretty active around the traps, looking to replace some aging stars

Strathalbyn..Red shoes still the go. Have lost at least 2 to the Richardson Building Company maybe 3
Could lose Billy Brownless lookalike as well

Victor..New Coach Big Dollars. Expect Levi to be bench coach and will probably lose Saunders and Hodge

Willunga.. The top side is still celebrating and will rely on those who have done it for the last 5 years.
Will try to get another small forward mid fielder. Baxter looks very fit.

Yankalilla.. No idea what they do down there. Need to get some numbers up across all grades

Mclaren will not get any m/vale players.

Hey Clops yo are confusing me ......M/Vale
Heaps of players from M/Vale and indeed M/Flat at McLaren
The township of McLaren Vale still exists and is abbreviated to M/Vale
Then we have M/Vale South or as some people say Willunga

Just nit picking

Why would Morphett Vale players go to Mclaren Vale Footy Club Maggie May??

Agreed! And any names of the possible movements from there?

Hey Gooch
I hear that Victor has approached a couple of well known Players from South and M/vale they are looking at a person or persons that can play on ball & CHB/Ruck. Also they have looked and spoken to 6''7 ruckman from Ironbank as well as 6''9 ruckman out of Gaza.

C.R from the Bays is also considering the move down to Victor if the moneys right.
If pigeon is right should be all signed & sealed by end of month.

Would have to be Will Banton wouldn't it? I dunno if he is quite 6'9, but wouldn't be far off. Is a very solid lad but from what i've heard is a little lazy. Was on a bout $600 a game down at Penola two years back. And I think you'll find that the 6'7 ruck from Ironbank will end up at Marion....
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

THIS WEEKEND WE HAVE FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES

ENCOUNTER BAY. Your job for the weekend is to operate the Goolwa to Victor Cockle Train

GOOLWA. Pretty easy for you. Dig up and sell Goolwa Cockles. There is no need to tell what the money is to be spent on.
They are very much in need of fixing.

LANGHORNES CREEK. Drive to Wllington and operate the Ferry. At $5.00 per car which is the new Levy which the Govt imposed as a result of the Financial Crisis

McLAREN. You need to go to two Cellar doors and sell the wine. Firstly Clarence Hill and secondly Bent Creek. You can sell all the wine at Bent Creek for half Price as they are Willungas Sponser

MYPONGA.. Not a lot of options that don't include Milk or Cows. But seeing you are also Sellicks. You are to fine all people who drive their cars onto the Beach from Moana to Sellicks. It is now illegal to go on the Beach in a car

Strathalbyn..Greyhound Racing Sunday. You are to be the Bookies for the Day. Get on Fear Trev late in the meeting

Victor Harbor.. You will need this just to pay the Coach. Take over the Victor Harbor Hotel and take the weekend takings.

Willunga.. You are to operate all stalls at the Willunga Farm market. Baxter and Portlock to operate the fruit and vegetable stand or they will eat the profits

Yankalilla. To operate the Island Seaway to and fro KI for the Weekend. Do not forget the seasick tablets

Compass. Milk, No .cows, No. fish. No... You are to run the Golf Course for the Day. Take shotgun to kill Brown Snakes, Sunday afternoon you can then have a Golf Cart Demolition Derby

Magoo your task is to meet with league officials to negotiate more than 1 final at Goolwa Oval over the next 2 years. We dont need any guarentees but an indictaion of higher usage of the 'best' oval will be enough to get the rennovation rescue back on track. Digging cockles will not be an option for finacial help, we have that covered.
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!
