Wouldnt say Imps are the dominant team of late, considering the Bluds finished minor premiers and beat Imps comfortably in the last minor round game.
If your family is steeped in Imperials history you would be aware of their grand final record???
Are all of the Imperials forward options fit and available?

I make no excuses for last year's fadeout, but it's a slightly different side, against a Jervois team not so unbeatable compared to the start of the season.
For Hills' sake, don't play on Harrowfield or Wait, short-priced favourites for BOG.
Even if Seyers misses, which i think unlikely, its a GF, they're sure to boot him full of injections, they've got players to take up the slack, their depth is good, and that, should give them a real competitive edge.

I dont think Wait is as influential, but i agree that Harrowfield must be stopped. And if someone actually plays on the gnome (#12) and makes him win a hard footy then imps might struggle to get it down to Sayers (if he plays) and Sheill quickly.

Do you think Harrowfield will play in the middle again? It worked last time against the Bluds.

Yeah, looking forward to hearing the outcome of this match. Imps whilst always up there in the top 3 sides most years, has a horrible GF record in the last 10 years. Must be about 5 they've lost since 2000.

The game is almost too tight to call. I'm hoping Imps win (even though they're my least favourite club in the RMFL) simply because i dont want Jervois to win 4 in a row. I think Jervois will probably win and this is for a few reasons - its being played at Jervois, Imps GF record of late could haunt them again if it gets close, and i reckon Jervois have 1 or 2 matchwinners (Mahoney in particular) who fire up in these types of games. Plus of course doubts about Seyers, i hear he may play but will be nowhere near 100% fit.

So i reckon Jervois by 11 points.

No Hills, sadly I will not be attending you GF.
From all reports (from blokes outside the RMFL that attended) the prelim was a very scrappy affair with the eventual winner not very convincing at all - NOT MY WORDS! Was this due to the game itself or a regular occurance? Apparently ordinary foot skills with no real system other than get and kick the shit out of it, chase after it, get it again and then kick the shit out of it.
I know I will get bagged for posting this but let me repeat - I wasnt at the game, not my words - I just want to know if this in a real indication of the type of footy being played or a bad day at the office?

From everyone down the hill I'd say we'd love to hear Imps get up, Bluds have won too many now so share it around boys.

Can someone explain to me how on earth Jervois got a home GF???????? Surely after winning 3 in a row they'd be favoured to play in the GF again by the league and therefor could've had a back up venue or I dunno never had the GF in the first place? I realise there might be a rotation system but c'mon.

I thought the game had some very highly skilled moments. both teams forwards were presenting well! And with the mighty bluds up by 7 goal in the third term. Ramblers came home strong and it was a draw with 5 mins to go. i think ramblers may of been up by a point in there somewhere too!

great finish to a good game!

you see footymad! Anyone can make a game sound good or bad just depends how you describe it. Oh and this isnt angled at you. Cos you werent at the game.

Mate its not the simplicity I'm interested in, its the rationale.
Never mind, your personally happy with it, seeing as though Jervois have already won it 3 times I suppose it doesnt matter that they 4th will be on their home ground.

Fm whats your reason for having such a strong opinion on the RMFL GF?

Do you not like someone from Jervois or something?
