NAFA A grade picked up the wooden spoon at Balaklava so I thought there might have been a few comments on here. Especially since Dogga didn't play.

Perhaps someone could provide a rundown of the games instead of the incessant group w4nk sessions about ring ins who are nowhere near the players you portray them to be! I didn't instigate the Northern Areas forum to hear nothing else but Barossa rejects. Some of us who now live outside the Northern Areas are actually interested in the football and relevant banter. I am sure I am not the only person to have switched off.
There Ive had my say. I am sure some of you self proclaimed authorities will maintain your form but perhaps those who agree with me can resurrect this forum with some interesting information for all.

you are certainly going about it the right way battler. I'm sure all the self proclaimed authorities on here will be falling all over themselves to satisfy your thirst for knowledge.
Also mate, name me a Barossa reject playing footy up here? The one's I know about seem to hold their places in the teams okay so if they were duds they'd be shafted to the Magoos or sent home surely?
I hope your day improves.

Apologies if I am wrong but I have connections in the Barossa football media who tells me one of these was "magoo'd" at a Gawler team before moving to another Gawler team where he was further "magoo'd". His teammates (fringe A graders playing mainly "magoo's" with him) jumped at the chance to receive the accolades in the NAFA that only a handful of mates from afar and journalists without research skills could afford them. The other player that dominates yoir comments was a reject from Central Districts "magoo's" and continued to be rejected by other clubs who he tried to oversell himself with in and near the Barossa. My mates back home tell me he is good but not great. So therefore Sky Pilot I present to you the "Barossa Rejects"! Enjoy your night!

Now if there is anyone out there capable of giving a report on the Landmark round robin competition, could you please provide a brief overview of such things as highlights, individual performances, injuries and the like?

Mate there is no one on Sa footy that really gives a toss about NAFA and until there is you will continue to get the idle yet quite humourous chat about the life of the great "DOGGA"

By the way i wouldnt call someone that didnt quite graduate from the Elizabeth Football Academy a reject. Plenty of players dont quite make the grade at Centrals as 12 GF's in a row would suggest. DOGGA would have played league at any other club, SF are very lucky to have him.

Battler you have the sense of humour of a small soap dish and the IQ of a grass hopper. Get a life.

My day has improved considerably. Sky Pilot, You asked for clarification of my Barossa Rejects comment. I did this and your response has been to insult my intelligence and sense of humour with the most witless return of fire imaginable. Sense of humour of a small soapdish and the IQ of a grasshopper. Well done, cant top that! I am clearly out of my depth. I will keep waiting for some intelligent NAFA football chatter while I do some remedial studies and get my sense of humour up to the lofty soap dish standards you have set!

nice response battler. Take it from me the NAFA finished third in the U17 and bottom in the A's. Coach Justin Duffy reckons we did our best but missed opportunities inside 50 cost us in both games.

Bit of late news.
The game scheduled for Peterborough this Saturday has been switched to Jamestown. Reason given is that the netball courts are unplayable at Peterborough.

I reckon Battler is playing you a bit fellas. Seems to have got things going on this forum in any case. Plenty of Southern Flinders stuff on here. They are clearly flag favourites ( and safooty regulars it seems) but who else is looking like challenging them? Will Crystal Brook re-gel and make a charge? Broughton seem to have the talent but too inconsistent perhaps? I think it will be in this order at the end of the season with Orroroo rounding out the four.
What do others think?

Southern Flinders seems to be unbeatable and will get up to seven A-list players back off the disabled list between now and round 12. They can afford to drop a couple of games and still finish with the double chance no sweat. Crystal Brook’s star is on the rise. Joel has them going like a swiss watch and they will contest the grand final with Southern Flinders. Making up the numbers are Broughton-Mundoora who redeemed itself last week when it snuffed out BMW’s chances of a top four finish. Orroroo is a goer but not quite the class of those above it. However, the Roos could be a dark horse, they have a solid reputation for scaring the life out of the competition in August/September. Its time for BMW and Jamestown-Peterborough to start blooding a few senior colts and B graders because this season is a dead loss.
