Yes duke you are right on the money here, had tea with bas before he left for home and he is coming back for season 09. Think a few months in the surf might be the best thing for his tight hammies, and a refreshed look on life only smells danger for those in opposition jumpers! Sure those on the coast would be hoping he stays around after 2 consecutive grand final loses and a man of his experience is something any team would love.

He is about 6 foot, 100kg (and rising, more fat than muscle), long black hair (was last season). Best way to find him is to go down to the local and look for the loudest most obnoxious man there and who is trying to fight everyone in the bar and it will be him. Look forward to seeing BB take to the field next year after an extended break at Streaky as I mentioned his weight is going north and probably will continue to.

you have no idea skipper, he would be one of the best blokes off the field you will ever meet. in his whole time at angaston which would be about 7 years has never been involved in a fight at a bar. what happened did he give you a whack on the field a couple times did he? no doubt you wouldve deserved it!!!

Have to agree with you on this one Skip, he is getting bigger and I have seen him in action in the Local hotel at both Ango & Tanunda and he does push the boundry's. I do however detect your humour in all this and going by previous posts your love of stirring up the Ango lads but having said that Basco is great for this comp, everyone talks about him and lets face it he can play footy. He would be in my side any day of the week. Backing up what Daysofourlives says, apparently he is great around AFC and will always pitch in.

Now Skip perhaps you can confirm the reports about Clive Waterhouse at Freeling.

Swooper I can confirm that I have heard the same rumours that Freeling are looking at Clive but it sounds as though there are also plenty of other clubs out there also looking at him. I would say that he is shopping himself around to the highest bidder.

My first post.

Gilligan my reports are indicating that willaston have only lost the mcleans and coghill. If Seelander can pick up a strong forward the donnybrooks might surprise.

Also hear that centrals will retain taylor and I don't expect the tigers to fill all of their imports spots with mercenaries. With the inclusion of slater from salis north to strengthen up their back line the tigers should fair well.

yeah Mills did everything but sign at Freeling, and then snuck in another club when they thought the deal was done. Apparently, he's not living in Freeling at the moment. His family are buliding a house there. He's still living in the Northern suburbs without a licence at the moment. Has some people fuming in Freeling. Oh well, he's made his bed now he has to lie in it. His family arent all that happy about the decision either. Theres a little thing called Karma I reckon.

Seen him play a few games in the HFL for Gumeracha last year. Average to Good player, tough in and under, but I wouldn’t get to down about missing out on him. Im sure the enigmatic Waterhouse will be able to fill his boyd at triple the cost.

If 9 team comp it will finish on weekend before AFL Grandfinal on Sept 19th. At moment scheduled to start on April 18th, but may still start on April 25th as Barossa clubs very unhappy with draw voted in at BLG AGM.
