Good news for Trev and Benno.... Going to be a big year for the Rovers... Sounds like a lot of the independent teams are struggling for numbers? Maybe they will have to amalgamate a few clubs...which would be disappointing really...

Trial game results:

Paringa 121 d Morgan 40.
Wunkar beat Ramco by 5 goals.
Kapunda beat Waikerie...not sure by how much.

Anyone hear how the other games went?

any truth to the story that this could be the last year of independents?

i also heard that east murray named a sheep in the back pocket for round one.. always in trouble when you have to play livestock.

BSR beat Moorook/Kingston by around 8 goals, good hit out. BSR look fairly handy. Good hospitality from BSR also.

Renmark beat Gawler Centrals by 3-4 goals.
GC were up by around 7 goals early before Renmark hauled them in.
Rovers who had a few out apparently.

Think CN is correct on this one! Check the Barossa thread,Waikerie won by about 14pts.Checked it with my Kapunda contact and this is correct.They were up by about 8 goals at half time,both clubs happy with the trial,played in great spirit apparently.
