Speaking of Barker's 'amenities', is there any more word on them getting financial help and relocating for SANFL games to also be played there? I think this was brought up early this season.

hahahaha you birdwood boys do make me laugh! Hahndorf's oval? You think your oval is flatter than Hahndorf's? :drinkers: :drinkers: You think your oval is better than one of, if not the best Oval's in the competition? Because surely i miss read that! I'll leave the comparison up to the Lofty boys in regards to their 'hill' and your HILL!

In regards to how well your oval is holding up yes the top end is! why? because its the top of the hill! Birdwood high really is lacking isn't it? Water can't collect on top of a hill, but it can at the bottom, hence your oval is dry at the top and muddy at the bottom! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Yes our oval is small, but the surface is good! Your changerooms are good for size and the shower comment was more so i could have a poke at what ours used to be!
Your oval needs work let's leave it at that!!! We can talk about the threat your going to pose, when and if it occurs. :-({|=

Settle down gimp, SnB made one comment about your oval and you have written an essay about it...

Back to footy- IB just didnt appear to want to be out there last week but with a finals spot now on the line this week expect them to come out firing against Handorf on a quality surface, setting ourselves up for a surprise victory at heathfield the following week

So Banker, where was Muff on the weekend? Is he injured or are the interest levels declining?

On your performance - It was surprising that you guys didn't try and boost your percentage considering it could be important in a few weeks time.

Good luck trying to beat Lofty - you haven't got a hope. Them and Uraidla are a big step above everyone. Even though it is good to see a lower-placed team do well this year, your supporters seem to have a short memory and are very arrogant (not so much on saturday but more at your home ground in the first round).

I think it was no. 5 (could've been no. 6) who can't stop talking himself up - an absolute wanker!!

Muffy was injured, Walter was away and Norts didnt play the second half...
The way norts was moving yesterday arvo suggests he could have played tho

''Ýou havnt got a hope'' of beating lofty, your opinion but definatly not the feeling at IB, hopefully lofty have that same attitude when we play them :) But were getting to far ahead, still have handy this week who gave us a bit of a scare last time

Anyone from Loby eg Statsman able to shed any light on the rumour that the Moneyman Garry Hughes is headed back there next year??. Apparently TV are already bracing for life without him.

Nah, I was out injured aswell :( No. 5 certainly doesn't have much to talk about - he was ordinary.

Even though the A grade hasn't won a game this year spirts are still quite high (as you may have seen on the w/end). I think that is due to the club, players and all people involved knowing there's a bigger picture and a plan in place. We knew we wouldn't set the world on fire in our first season but it's all about development and learning about what we need to be more competetive and play finals footy.

I can't wait until next year!!

a good source has told me hughes will coach loby next season, taking the likes of d.smith, carter richardson and a couple others depending on the points system. all players would do very well in div one, well done to blackwood on there win, ironbank boys another win but i hope it does not hurt you at the end of the year by not getting % up? my tip and most other peoples is uri to win the flag by ten goals, hey does anyone know why hunter didnt play on the weekend, kersbrook would be a bit worried if they lost and he didnt play. heythis would be funny, battams to umpire in 2008 i would like to see that :o not hard to elbow him in the eye at his height

If GH does go to Loby does the maximum of three clearances from 1 club still stand because it is going from Country to Central.

"most other people" would hate you representing their opinion if it's that you think Uris will win the flag by 10 goals, mate.
Uris to win is a common tip, but 10 goals...a bit off the mark, I think your are

tell you what, no.5 for ironbank was an absolute tool, apparently kept reminding his opponents about how many medals he'd won, and how ironbank are gonna be a force in the finals...not likely.

and that rude hit on birdwoods FF in the 1st should've been reported not a yellow card.

having played mt.lofty and uraidla, teams who actualy do have something to be arrogant about... i can easily say that ironbank are the most arrogant.

It's not worth entering a debate with the Birdwood lads! Their oval is perfect and No. 5 well he is a wanker, can't believe he would talk shit on a footy field, must be the first bloke to do that all year! Probably in line for a suspension the length of Battams. Maybe in your prayer time before this weekend's match you can pray to not lose by 20+ goals and that none of your opponents hurt your feelings :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

Gimp i haven't heard the saying "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." But i have heard the saying sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me

enjoy the wooden spoon :butthead:

You must be smoking some strong herbs in Birdwood boys!

As far as No. 5 for Ironbank talking himself up I think you'll find its because his opponenet said "mate, I played league, I'm better than you'll ever be blah blah". So he decided to start making stuff up such as all the trophies he'd won as a joke. Can't believe the guy took it seriously. As far as arrogant goes I wouldn't of thought so. Maybe a couple of individuals but as a collective team I don't think so. We finished bottom last year and are only 5th this stage so nothing to be arrogant about. Maybe your just sore losers.

As far as the game. Poor Poor effort by IB. obviously got the points but needed the % more then ever especially with Blackwood winning. No excuses at all just didn't click. Was impressed with the way Birdwood kept fighting the game out.

And thought your facilities were pretty good but i did nearly crash the car when driving in and seeing the oval. Had heard calls of veladrome but thats rediculous. Oval on a slope you can deal with but I don't quite know how to describe that thing. Was there no excavation equipment when the oval was made? Possibly instead of the wooden spoon we can give you a shovel and you flatten the thing out

Muffy has been brilliant. Don't look at the best as an indication because he doesn't get put in there much because as part of his contract he doesnt get the best prizes so better to give to someone else. Been pretty consistent and had few BOGs. Missed last 2 with back complaint but should be back this week for Hahndy
